Remote play on Macbook

Some context to this unique situation. I have an awesome PC at home but I travel for work about 2 weeks every month. Recently while extremely bored I decided to play Diablo III on my iPad using the app Splashtop, allowing me to stream my PC to my iPad. This worked surprisingly well (even on crappy hotel wi-fi), but of course touch screen controls aren't going to cut it.

My work laptop is a 2010 era Macbook pro that can't pull Old Republic off without some serious issues. Does anybody have advice on a desktop steaming program that would allow me to stream my PC to my Mac and remote access it?
