Just don't give a chit what people say. Play for yourself and if you like it and you think its worth $15 a month then stay.

It's that simple

Actually, they could stand to delete some more imo. The best way to deal with attacks in a community's front yard is to calmly remove the attackers from the community's social circle, and focus on what's productive. It's their forum so they can do whatever they want. We are merely member guests. Membership is a privilige that can be revoked at any time and without our consent. How some people feel so "above the law" cracks me up.

OP, the game remains fun and is evolving nicely.
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

The game has gotten alot better since 1.3. Now you can actually play with other people!!

I am not the biggest starwars fan, I have watched all of the movies but beyond that not really in to it. From my perspective as a "casual" Starwars fan the game does feel like the movies about 80% of the time. What bogs it down is typical game stuff that is unavoidable. But everything from Revan to sand people is in the game which is cool and since they added a new feature that optimizes your graphics to your comp the game should run fine now.

As far as the game being as bad as people on you tube are saying I would suggest giving 1.3 a chance since it just came out a few weeks ago. 1.3 has made the game truely feel like an mmo instead of just a solo game with a few multiplayer features. Also from what i have seen on youtube and such there comments are a little dated since they fixed and added alot of ease of use features in 1.3.

Over all I toughed it out for 6 months so far and I think the game is finally headed in the right direction. Like all mmos there is always room for improvement but about half of the ground work is done at this point and it is starting to shine.
can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out.

Sorry my english isn't very good looking

People pay 15 bucks to post on these forums and play the game.
Removing posts by paying customers is a bad idea unless the posts contain serious infractions. unless you want even more players to leave the game and everyone can merge to just one server...if the game is still up at all.
I've had several threads deleted that weren't against tos. If I didn't enjoy the game as much as I do, I probably would've quit on the spot.

* Make note: Forums are full of doom and gloom / complainers who make up any excuse to troll instead of playing the actual game*

TOR is picking back up, aside from some new bugs from 1.3 TOR is doing pretty good. Just don't power grind through the game or you will have less to do.

You are not really going to get a whole lot of advice here OP. What you will do is to provide an opportunity for the many detractors to voice yet another negative opinion of the game.

Beyond that, I can tell you that it is not at all as bad as the kiddies are saying it is. Most of the negativity I read on this board is more or less conjecture and hyperbole to the point that I sometimes feel as if they are speaking of a different game. I see people complaining about "no end game content", yet my schedule is full and when I ask how far they have gone, many have not even done story mode raiding.

I've played most of them but UO, EQ, Wow the longest. I've raided all through end game, crafted, had the alts, PvPed etc. I say comparatively that this game is on par with previous games. All in all, I'm having alot of fun leading my raid group, running my alts, and now with greater population, going to enjoy flashpoints. It is, overall, a pretty easy game to play (not hard core at all). it has all the makings of a good MMORPG (grouping, pvp, dungeons, raids, crafting, etc).

If you enjoy MMORPGs its worth playing. If you are more into shooters, are the very "picky" type, then you may not like it as that is where most of the complaining is coming from.
May the Schwartz be with you....

In lieu of the test & support forums being used for issue reporting and feedback (their intent I believe), there are plenty of posts in Community & General Discussion that are perceived as negative but really aren't because they detail an issue with thoughts on how to improve it. Personally I welcome those as constructive feedback.

It is malicious attacks (however nicely or cleverly worded) on the game, the company or the community that don't deserve the light of day, regardless of whether or not the "member" pays for posting privileges. Member clubs will kick members out then clean up their mess - regardless of how much they pay in dues or how much money they spend on goods & services - if they make life miserable for the other members. I see no difference in how detrimental conduct should be handled here.

Yeah don't pay attention to the fact of the MASSIVE server transfers (not even just some servers but nearly all) aimed at one server or another to put the people that are left over together. Ignore the fact they in a 6 months they already began talking about f2p models. That with a mixture of horrible management (aka server down time 3 days in a row with them saying at one moment they won't go down and then they instantly shut down) and a fact that more people are playing gta san andreas of all games than this one of xfire..Ignore all those facts and you can be like the community and say the game is "doing amazingly well". Or the best one yet..."this game had the best launch than any other MMO" LOL.. To be honest if you waited all this time then you should wait to the game goes f2p, maybe by then and that's a big maybe, the lfg will actually group up for the class they choose instead of making a dps a healer in the queue.

It's certainly worth trying again with the server transfers (although the downside of that can be queues).

The game still lacks a LOT, there's just no getting around that, however a lot has been added too.

Subs-wise it's probably under 1m now, although where abouts it is who knows till an investor call (and SWTOR has always retained a very surprisingly large number of paying subs compared to playing subs).
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?
