My fps is still good but i still have a cycling of colors and im pretty sure its not my machine as it gave me no issues before 1.3. I have even seen my fps at a solid 60 in pvp.

@nrazen_nl: some things just don't get into the patchnotes.

What exactly do these actually mean? Do these colors indicate Bad, Good, Ugly?

For the first time I am seeing the numbers in red. Can this be explained so that we know if it is a problem, please?

BTW I just had my entire system diagnosed and every component was working well based upon stress tests and such.

Thanks

Greetings lynspottery,

The color of the FPS display merely indicates where the bottleneck in game processing is. Contrary to convention in this case red does not mean bad and green does not mean good. I hope this clarifies things. Please post again if you have further questions.

what the cs is saying is, the colors just indicate what is currently proccessing. red for your graphics card is doing the work, green for your cpu and yellow means they are both working it. nothing more.

Greetings lynspottery,

The part of the computer that is holding back game performance the most is called the bottleneck. In this situation if your processor/CPU is the bottleneck the FPS display color will be green. If your video card/GPU is the bottleneck the FPS display color will be red. Post more questions if you have any.

Ok, so if I understand this correctly, it does not matter what color the numbers are because any color would indicate a bottleneck anyway. So why do those numbers show up at all? Especially since I have a good setup and I cannot constantly go out and purchase the exact hardware/software that SWTOR requires to not have a bottleneck somewhere.

Something is wrong with this picture I think.

Is there a maximum fps in game now? I seem to remember numbers north of 120fps (peak) on my old GTX560.

With my new GTX680 my FPS meter is constantly red since the patch. It makes no difference if I run super low, or super high graphics. I'm capped at 110fps. Does anyone know if this is the case?
