What do you fear more, Smash or Rail shot?

2 Rail Shot shouldnt kill.
Against full WH sorc with 21000hp and 1350ish expertise.
Thermal Deto + IR + Railshot + Rocket Punch + Railshot should take him down to close to 30% if not less however and at this point you can still spam FB while all your dots are ticking for 30% more damage.

Rs can also be dodged and deflected. Every class has a base defense, no need for a shield.

Pyros usually do not have 100% accuracy for white damage. Example:

Anyway its nice to see a powerfull marauder complaining about one one the few classes that doesn't fear his mighty glowsticks ..

I can kill them on my Sentinel/Marauder if my CD's are down but they can take me down extremely easily as well. The only reason i can at all on my Sentinel/Marauder is because of those CDs. Other classes hardly stand a chance versus Powertechs and get nuked down in a few seconds flat. Rail shots 90% arp and their massive elemental dots keep tanks from even tanking them, unless you are a tankassassin. Only 3 classes can really beat Powertechs 1 v 1, Sents, if their CDs are down, have some chance. Tankassassins can actually out last them, and snipers can out dps barely. Railshot in itself is strong as hell, and thats only one of their giant burst hits.

And you think 5GCD to take a full WH opponent from 100% to 30% is ok... shows how much you know about balance.
And thats 5GCD not counting the dots will then tick for 30% more but yea we dont want to talk about that. Right?

No way it is going to take them down that far, and you are also taking out all of their defensive cooldowns and all heals on that person. That was what happened in best case scenario against a recruit gear if everything crit during adrenals/relic days.

Actually if everything crits its easily 15k+ at least in the "good old days"... oh yea not counting the dots and the 30% MOAR DOTS when enemy is below 30%.

Yes with our 100% crit rate we are really beasts.

:Defensive CDs + Sorc = Nonexistent EDIT: You could possibly count the bubble as a Defensive CD as of now since it does not scale with gear as it should. But even then it'd leave the person at like 45%

To say that Sorc would by chance have any Defensive CDs or heals on him is best case scenario. To be honest you won't see best case scenario too often and yes, 30% is about the amount of health he will be at if no heals are casted on him. I might sound like a broken record, but some abilities are overtuned. Pyrotech just happens to have a couple of em.
