i actually have

mez
stun (with -10 sec cooldown over 60sec cooldown)
lift (made istant)
kick (even when visible and lowered cooldown as well thx to gear bonus)
pull
knockback (AOE)

+
force slow
force run

okey the mez is only out of combat and people never get out of combat so it's not so fancy
but still it's 6 strategic element to direct the battle in the direction i want

i still have an interrupt
i can guard
i have 2 Mind control (an AOE one and a single target one)

then i have invisibility and resilience

the people that whine about change are people that chose the wrong class if u wanted a pure DPS you should have pick a different class we are mostly utility we can be
utility-more tankish
utility-more dps (one dots one spike/inivisilbe)

but we remain an utility class

there are full tank class and ther are full DPS class (sentinel has 3 brench DPS)
no class should be more DPS then a class that has 3 brench DPS so I personally think that Pyro/Vanguard is a little bit out of line but i dont care and hate to ask for nerf for me it's fine as it is but expetice that shadow match Sentinel or match the in my opinion not so balanced Pyro is wrong

You have a lot of CC for sure.

However not so good reading skills as this is a thread about sorcs/sages not sins/shadows.

In my opinion getting Force Wake and Kinetic Collapse from the telekinetics tree massively helps your survivability if your soloing. If your running in a group with a tank it becomes a lot less usefull, but then you shouldnt feel too squishy anyway...

Yes it does restrict your choices for specs, but at least as a healer the 21/20 hybrid works very well. I'm usually not far behind in healing vs a 31 point healer sage while doing like 50-80k more damage. Also if you end up with 3 healers in a group you can do some significant damage, as in like 60% of a full dps, while keeping the full healers alive when they are focused. It doesn't look too sexy on the scoreboard but is very usefull in such a match.

Also the spec is great fun to play :-)

As a dps full Telekinetics is certainly viable, i don't know about Tele / Balance hybrids...

Thats the spec i've been running for a while now:

Shadow/Sin has comparable utilities to the sorcs yet with better survivability, burst damage and even a stealth.

I laugh at people thinking sorcs/sages has the most control/utilities when shadow/sin easily outshines them.
Oh tankasins version force speed also DISPELS all movement debuffs AND make them immune to them during the effect. We have friendly pull that helps in hutball, tankasin has offensive pull that works on all WZs including hutball as ultimate grief to the ball runner.. Did I mention they survive just like a tank AND does wayy bigger burst than a sorc could? EVEN IN FULL TANK SPEC such as 31/0/10.

People are no stupid thesedays.

I have 15 odd years of preferring heal based classes in PvP, I play a sorc healer, and from the number of guild poaching attempts it appears i do an ok job of it. While I still enjoy Sorc in PvP, I fully understand why many people might drop this class entirely from their stable of PvP characters.

I will explain this very simply,

IMHO,

I have found Mara, vanguard, Pyro, Tankassin and Gunslinger to be far easier to play and often way more fun than playing as a sorc/mirror.

Remove the fun factor from a class and you will see less of that class in the game.

Good luck all

Sorcs need an oh **** button. Something other than "Release to Medcenter"
Fallschirmjager
Lightning Sorcerer
<Rapture>
The Shadowlands (Formerly Shadow Hand)

Disjunction dispels the movement debuffs on application but doesn't grant further immunity. It's just pretty rare you'll be rooted back to back twice. Some classes can literally die for being rooted once, so getting out of that every 20 seconds is pretty good.

Since Sorc have by far the lowest mitigation + survival skills in the game, it's always a good idea to start hitting one and see how the enemy responds because they're always the weakest link. Either they don't respond and you get an easy kill, or if they do you can use the Sorc as a distraction for their healer to waste heals into while others work on more valuable targets.

Hi!

For dps in pvp, would you go for 0/13/28 (now when double dipping isnt functioning) or 3/7/31? and why?

best regards
