IM a female in rl and in game ( twilek) and HATE the silly colm headpiece so I hdie the slot. However I loved my blackhole Chest piece as it came with a hood that showed regardless of whether I hid the head slot or not.

 

Now its gone , whether I hide the headslot or not and even if I take off my headpiece ..no hood.

 

Was this in the patch notes and what happaned?

I believe it was in the patch notes about how they fixed head pieces that had clipping issues.

I too am very disappointed that my hood no longer appears with my mask on.

 

The black hole force mystic chest used to show a hood over my kallig's countenece mask, and now it does not.

 

when i do a hide head slot i get the hood back, but no mask.

 

i think bioware made all shown head pieces overwrite the hoods to make their job eastier... but it looks terrible compared to the awesome look they had.

My twi'lek female assassin in striker gear lost the hood as well. The tails were clipping thru but it "appeared" like the toon had cut holes in the hood for her lekku (spelling?) to stick thru. So, now that the hood is gone, only the mask shows, and the lekku are clipping thru that... so, whats the diff? lol
