Up until this post I thought that it was still in development. I thought I was pretty good at keeping up with the game's development.

not being able to clean windows has forced me to unsubscribe (on the day 1.3 goes live? i don't think so)

while I quickly saw this was an April Fool's joke, I also remember actually wishing it wasn't a joke. I was that desperate for them to add stuff to the game.

LOL They got me with that, I wanted to try it out. That was me not realising April Fools day was just around the corner at the time. >.<
If force choking Jawas is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Well, it shows they're aware of the humor that little mini-games can provide. I know they have a lot of people working on adding dungeons and armor and legacy nonsense, but how could they not throw a simple card game (pazaak) or some sort of rail racing swoop bike mini-game in somewhere?

There's so much potential for fun and games and they just aren't doing it. The legacy stuff wouldn't be nearly as sticky as competitive racing or gambling, etc.

I thought it was a bit of a destructive goof, and may have disheartened a number of people, even caused the loss of a few subs.
LMAO, this is an April Fool's joke that is 3 months late right? "Many" people thought it was real? Really? I highly doubt many people fell for this for more than a minute or two. Lost subs? You can't be serious.

The ones who un-subbed or was disappointed when BW revealed it was an April Fool's joke should be nominated for the Darwin Award.

ANYTHING, and then I mean ANYTHING, that officially comes out of a game company on April Fool's day is absolutely, 100% false, and everyone should know this by now.

This, well mostly. Very few announcements on April Fools day are real.

But for MMO's and such, use common sense and it will tell you it's a joke and not to expect it to actually be in the game.

Its not about April Fools. Personally, I love a good prank. The point is they teased a mini game, regardless of the ridiculously fabricated content of that mini game, it was still a mini game- which is something the game lacks.

My mom once told me my blood test came back and that the doctor was very upset and wanted us to go in right away.

I was 11,

That was cruel.
