The only reasons why the Hutts are taking over the GTN is just for personal convenience of cross faction bidding.

Yes we know. We are just speculating what can happen in the future of expansions.

The upcoming MMO by Funcom published by EA has three factions. Rift is implementing three factions for PVP purposes. The Hutt Cartel would make sense, except that Bounty Hunters and Smugglers SHOULD have been part of that faction to begin with considering they work the black markets and frequently are employed by the Cartel. Great idea, but it's a little late for that seeing how the most logical change would be a massive pain in the rear and would force BioWare to radically rethink their factions, story, and pretty much destroy everything they have already created. So, no, it's not going to happen. Making this change does not seem financially sound given the existing issues in this game.

SWTOR should copy this at the very least (3 factions for PvE is a huge ask, but for RvRvR not so much).
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Running through Nar Shadda, I can't help but get this feeling even more.....

So Wookies, Ewoks, Jawas, Hutts and more humans are all possibnle races AND if this turns out to be true it will probably be part of an expansion.....

How many feel this is possible, likely and would welcome a third "neutral faction"??

There will never be a third faction, as it makes absolutely no sense when you consider SW lore.

You are not your rig specs. You are not your K/D ratio. You are not your character level. You are not your sig.
Gunslinger / Shadow / Sentinel / Powertech

Looks like you haven't look into SW lore enough or even consider what else lucas can make up out of his imaginative brain of his.
Of course there is only 2 factions and no other faction are big enough to rise against it, /sarcasm. There is so much in SW that it will survive for hundreds of years. For example lucasarts are working on making a Bounty Hunter game called Star Wars 1313. They can make more and a perspective of a Mandolorian Character, you will just never know until the game/movie/book makes it's debut.

Looking for a good woman. Able to clean, cook, sew, catch bait, and clean fish. Must have boat and motor.
((Please send picture of boat and motor))

SWTOR is by the book 100% theme park..... doubt that will ever change..
Having a third faction doesn't make it less of a themepark. Themepark by def is the quest chains system of an MMO... The third faction would still be part of this structure.

POTBS has four factions (British, French, Spanish, and Pirate). Having more than two is neither unique nor groundbreaking.

I doubt SWTOR will add a faction because of the cost of all the voice acting and cinemagraphics. A neutral alignment can happen, a new faction is way too costly.

Are you for real?? How can you believe that after playing this game and everything you know about the Hutts... The Hutts are notoriously neutral and only may lean pub or imp because of interest/credits but they have NO allegiances.
