But the evil geniuses at BW are starting the free trials in july and since they never end they will be able to count anyone who ever makes a free trial account as a sub for the life span of the game. We will probably never know the true number of subs.
Q2 ends June 30, so the f2p to 15 will not be in the next count.

were u geting 1.3mil from ? and with now in effect 8-9 eu servers u still think 1.3mil ? they artificially kept subs up with the free month just before they had to report the number of subs u can guess how bad their were.

unless they give more free months only in september will ppl see the real number

The last official release of sub numbers at the end of Q1 was 1.3 million.

I went from knowing 30+ hardcore SWTOR players after 1.2 to seeing 90% of them unsub recently (and I'm about to unsub too). There is no way the game has more than 750k active subs at the moment.

Server xfers solved the population issue. But we all realized that the game is still stale and boring.

I doubt they will be higher, subs will have been lost since the last report and while they will have got new subs and resubs I don't think they will have made up all the lost ground. I am expecting about 1.1 - 1.2 million.

Anyone who honestly believes the next official sub count will be higher than the last sub count are just plain kidding themselves.

Count subs on Friday, release 1.3 previous Tuesday......good plan.

They should'nt count those anyway. WoW does'nt. They only count subscriptions which are active the last 30 days of the sub report cycle...not accounts.
