I played both gw2 beta weekends and trust me Bioware shouldn't worry. The questing in TOR is amazing and GW2 is really just a pretty mmo with kid friendly quests.
The best MMO I have played in a long time. Not perfect but pretty close to it.

Oh, BW is and should be worried - you think it's a coincidence they're bringing Makeb out by the end of the year - just in time for the (hinted) GW2 launch around Thanksgiving?

Anyhow, unfortunate thread title - both because break sounds like you could be leaving the game, and because the market won't give BW a "break" in any event. They've got work to do if they want to survive a tough MMO market and GW2.

Sorry I couldn't let this go without comment.

Unfortunately, this will be lost an a very large portion of the audience, for which it was intended.

Well, if I had to appear in a sequel that wasn't nearly as good as the original, I'd be sad too.

Star Wars and Sci Fi, GW2 is a Fantasy Game, how many of those have seen in the recent years? Makeb is supposedly out for 1.4 if my suspicions are correct, unless you have a Valid Link to show me

All they said about everything they unveiled at E3 is next 6 months - no other time frame or information about which particular patch.

Bioware should worry. GW2 is a lot harder and has a more well done world that feels alive. I don't see how GW2 has "kid friendly quests" and SWTOR doesn't? It's not like SWTOR has challenging or gruesome quests.

I love SWTOR but let's be honest here, GW2 is better in every facet of life and breathes new life into the MMO genre in which SWTOR falls flat on it's face at max level where people get bored quickly because it's essentially a wow in the star wars universe.

SWTOR honestly has the most fun and engaging leveling experience of every MMO I've played, even though it's basically kill x collect y quests, the voice overs make it feel so much bigger and epic. Once you hit max level though, it becomes a boring grind for gear.

The cool thing about GW2 is all the content in the game will stay relevant because you run off karma points and the game down levels you so you don't over level content and make it too easy for you. The random events even in just the starting zone are really cool and it feels like a community because everyone works together.

Don't even get me started on GW2 pvp, probably the best pvp in any MMO I've ever played. So much fun and everything is relatively balanced and it's still beta.
Those who beg for mercy are too weak to deserve it.
