Weekend Activities on Lord Calypho:

-Some people running around nekkid.
-Raiding Black Talon.
-yay someone posted one item on GTN
-Playing Pazzak with the the whole 4 people
-Everyone is best friends now, since we're all that's left.
-Race games
-Dress up and duels for the lols in LARP fashion
-Betting with other guys if we will ever hit double digits on Imp.Fleet
-Dance Classes in whole one WZ that happens per day
-Really persistant people trying to imagine SWTOR as a single player experience
-Playing on Tattoine really makes you feel like you're alone in a desert
-Sychronized Suicide Jumps into the Abyss on Imp.Fleet, then running again to see who jumps first.
-Finding a group for something makes you feel like you completed Denova, EV and KP at the same time
-Roleplaying with Imaginery Friends, feeling bit weird
-Marathon Games, running 43 circles around the fleet, with exact checkpoints
---------------
Feel free to throw in some ideas.
-Loathe (Imperial Sniper, Operative and Scoundrel)
-dirtdog (Vanguard).
-Paranoir (Dreadnaught)

Last night on Lord Calypho:

(play dramatic music)

Chandler and company got a visit from a long, lost friend. Phoebe experienced her first case of morning sickness. And Rachel
--wait, that's not right. There weren't even 3 whole people on the server last night...

Okay, that's an exaggeration. There were about 45 people on the Imperial side, and about 30 on the Republic side when I was on. Queued for Warzones for over 3 hours with no pop. No one available for Heroics on Taris or for FP's on Fleet. In fact, strangely enough, I only saw one other person actually on the Imperial Fleet.

Here's what I don't get, though. Last night and the night before, I saw maybe 10 or 15 new characters working their way up on Hutta and Korriban, and 8 or 9 new characters working their way up on Ord or Tython. I don't know if these are alts, or new subscribers picking LC unaware of the situation. I have a hard time believing they were all alts, especially since it seems like a waste to get invested in a new character while everything is still up in the air concerning our fate (and add one more toon to the list of those that you might have to [grimace] pay to move [/grimace], I'm assuming per character, in a week or a month or two.

Meanwhile, getting mighty dry up in there...

You made the move Ycoga... im going to gank your arse till its red raw boy lol

but i feel for you guys its bang out of order that bioware cant help move the rp players to the only english speaking rp server.

But what they shoudl have done is, move PVP low pop servers to LC, making the server become filled and then you would have one RP-pvp and one RP- pve servers, makes more cense.
We need RVR in this game, lets make world burn with pvp

Maybe. But I think we would've probably ended up similar to the ways many RPers who took the free xfer to ToFN feel now. Moving enough people whose only concern is PVP over to LC would have just brought in an element that wouldn't be compatible with the community LC was building.

I think the reason so many of the RP crowd are pushing so hard to move to The Progenitor is that we see kindred spirits there in their attitudes and dedication, and are more than willing to give up the (non-existent anyway) open-world PVP to have that sense of community again.

I have no ideas to add, but I can maybe tempt you to try Tomb of Freedon Nadd instead:

-Applying a bruise on your face via repeated facepalming after realizing that you have to wait in a queue before logging in the server you despise
-Placing bets about the amount of time it will take you to feel lag nauseated while trying to make your way to the GTN
-Roleplaying with your companions in your ship or other instanced locations, so no one sees and mocks you
-Applying yet another bruise on your face via additional facepalming after seeing people's playstyle in warzones
-Wondering why you're still paying for all this
-Organizing "Worst Name Awards 2012" contests and having a really hard time picking the winner
-Managing to wake up at 6 am, so that you are the only one in Black Hole, and cry on your way to work/school after seeing that there's still 60 people there
-Scaring your pets and neighbours away with hysterical cries, after realizing that the guy dishing you in that 50 warzone has still not chosen an advanced class
-Seeking out medical help after applying a broken nose on your face via some more facepalming, because you dared to reactivate the general chat and saw that it's still full with "ur mom" jokes, in all sorts of languages, for the past 5 hrs.
Bleh...

I would have hosted an RP event on Tomb of Freedon Nadd...

...but I took a 50 minute login queue to the knee.
Arkriman 50 Powertech

You're welcome to try: we'll be creating open world events over there too. Who knows, you may get the lucky break you've obviously been hoping for.

I got sick to my stomach staying there for an hour to test the waters prior to transfer (and so thankful I did and thus avoided going there). I can't imagine playing on that server. I'll take the eerie silence and empty streets of LC over that any day of the week. (Actually, I've found it so damned easy and quick to level my 38 Powertech there now that everyone's gone...)

I feel for you, Kiyosa, and all the rest that made the move. Hopefully someone from BW will read through this today now that their weekend is over and authorize xfers from ToFN to TP, so we can all get to where we want.

this is so messed up, I feel for those who jumped ship and I cannot blame them but hearing that they regret it so much.. go go, BioWare it's about time to sort this out - it's all about the community right and you hold the key
