Sure we were crying and venting on forums... it took time and devs slowly changed the mechanics to make it work in par with other classes. Mind it... they did not reverse changes, they did not cave to the whining players (and we were right to whine!!!!) and worked on it enough long to fix it.
It took a while, but guess what, finally they did it right.

You guys have to be a little patient. Usually the nerf is a bit more then it should, but then good stuff coming and you might actually like your class more then you did before....
When update get live... get facts straight and give feedback and I am sure any unbalance will be adjusted. It's not the end of the world LOL, not yet, though December 22, 2012 is coming.....
Sounds like they did not do a good job of testing those nerfs.

Grin, probably not. It takes time and lots of feedback to get things right.
My point is, that they can adjust things later if needed. it is MMO, nothing in this game is final

And btw - LOL this is the only info in patch notes about the change

Adjusting spells and combat arts to ensure that damage, healing, and utility are more proportionate among the classes.

Boy, it was a surprise to start a game try to heal and kill the group in a minute on regular heroic mobs. I still can't stop laughing remembering .....friends yelling at me what the f*** I was doing....

Lol! This was one of the major reasons many unsubbed to WoW shortly after Cata was released. The healers and tanks where very flustrated trying to do thier jobs in runs. Only ones who may not have had any major issues like that were the ones in heroic Lich King gear. Which most did not have. And dps not knowing how to do CC was a issue. The dungeons were a big change over what they were use to in WOTLK. Blizzards knows it was a major reason, why so? In MOP they are going back to the WOTLK style 5 man heroics. Which is..ones which are easier and shorter. Poor testing of changes by MMO's continues to be a major reason why issues come up after the release of a patch or content/expac release.

All they do is put the patch on the PTS, then go do tequila shots for a few weeks then deploy it.

Occasionally someone gets bored and accidentally changes something which might correspond with some player feedback, that's about it though.

Anything involving not only "listening" but "acting on what we just heard" is not part of this company's business model anymore.

you have to remember that they have a bigger picture then we have of what they want to do... players might want to things fix one way, they will adjust it the way which match their idea. And it will make more sense, when all is said and done.
So be patient, give feedback and you might be surprised (in good way) about the outcome.

Yet Blizzard has only lost customers since the Dragon Soul patch was released. Everyone cruised through their easy 5 mans and LFR runs and finished the game. It only took me 2 weeks to finish Cataclysm after that patch (I couldn't give a **** about hardmodes, rerunning a raid with just bigger numbers was a waste of my time). You make the game mindless and the mindless will just easily burnout.
I need about tree fitty.

There's never any way to win... you say you bring it out, people scream it's not ready. You say you're gonna test it further, people scream that they want it now.

There's just no way to win.

Jonathan, in my case I would love to be playing my legacy toons with my guild. EA/BW has not figured out that guilds are made up of people from around the world and that opening the oceanic servers to only people in the region screwed pretty much anyone in a Aussie guild who does not live in the region as we were not given the option to transfer our toons. Not to mention some of my Aussie guildies still have toons that are stuck on a dead Vonsker server because they didn't qualify for transfer (no clue what that is about). But on a positive note, I can interact with a hell of a lot more people on forums than I can on a dead server.
