To everyone that had this problem I was just able to get my transfer to work.

What I did:

1) Create new character on Destination Server (CLASS, GENDER does not matter)
Go through the initial cutscene. DO NOT JUST HIT ESCAPE AND SKIP IT

2) Create a new Character on ORIGIN server (CLASS, GENDER does not matter)
Go through the initial cutscenes. DO NOT JUST HIT ESCAPE AND SKIP IT

Log out to the character selection screen then come back to this website and initiate the transfer on the Original character that was giving you trouble.

This method just worked for me and I hope it works for others. Good Luck!

Thanks for posting your work around. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. I'm still stuck and Customer Service has flat out ignored my cries for help.

Hello Euora,

We are aware of an issue which has stopped some players from transferring an eighth character across to the new server.

If that is the case here, there is a work around which has resolved the issue for some players and is worth trying
1. Create a new character on the destination server (any type).
2. Log off and then back in to the same server.
3. Delete the newly created character.
4. Log off and back on once again and the character total should have reset to 7.
5. You can now try to transfer your eighth character across.
