So it has been teased that BioWare is working on a big secret space project for the game. So wanted to see what all speculations everyone could have.

Personally I think it is either going to be guild Capital Ships or Open space flight (not combat) around space stations, planets and such.

What are some of your speculations on this?

Speculation leads to disappointment when the reality of the "secret space project" fails to live up the the epic ideas put out by the community.

I'll remain pessimistic until revelation on the off chance I'll be surprised...

nah,not guild capital ships...game is too young for that..it will most likely be a semi auto piloted sort of capital ship,with players from wherever on that allegiance side manning turrets,missile bays and what not...also i think players having to defend against boarding partys would be good as well


i was in a previous mmo where they had monthly mothership battles between two different allegiances

This would be cool to see.

But like I said, I am still leaning towards Guild Capital Ships or free roaming space flight around stations and such.

well said, but some ppl just can't help to go with the hype, that being said

i believe its going to be a large open area, for space pvp

my money is on some type of pvp warzone space combat. Like you queue up for it then it transports you to an area of space for a pvp free flight combat.

Anyway I am willing to bet we will get more info about it once it gets closer to the launch of the new WoW expansion.

My hope is for multi-player space missions, but realistically.... no clue. Ship interior customization? Buying new ships, with the ship being more than just a cosmetic difference like the current ones are?

This project has bee in development for ages (Was 1st announced 6 months ago), so it can't be a simple on-rails shooter, can it? Personally, I think they are gonna release guild ships in game update 1.5 which will be called... hmm... Lets say Guild Wars.

After all, they have said they are interested of the guild ship idea.
