Explain to me how my character that was logged out for a period of about 5 hours in the middle of the Justicar district did have rested XP when I logged back in then.

You already had rested xp from a cantina before you logged out.

Was never in a cantina exept for a brief moment to turn in a quest, but managed to somehow get 619 rested xp on a lvl 17.

Seems to me that this is an excellant feature.

By the fourth time through, most of the world missions have lost their luster. Many of us only rerolled additional classes to see the class missions. If I can skip large chunks of the world missions and focus chiefly on my class missions, plus the odd Flashpoint or whatnot, I consider it a positive feature.

Besides, with the diminishing return on xp, it's pretty harmless. If you drop onto a planet and discover everything is green, you'll level very little. If you stick around after it all goes grey, you won't be leveling at all.

this is true. i've even heard of reports of people getting a short term ban for quitting warzones while at a high level(like 49( only so they can keep queuing and help out guild mates or friends or whatever other reason they have to do it

Leveling itself should not be a challenge. At the end of the day you can do missions for the story alone, not for endless xp grinding. And if you reach end game faster, who is stopping you from continuing to do story missions? Are you playing just for the xp grind?
