Here's a better question. If BW came out and said "Starting August 1 SWTOR will be free to play and not charge monthly fee." would you quit or keep playing? Me, I'll keep playing until it's no longer fun to do so regardless if i'm paying or not.

ah good man...i intend to do the same as well...despite the plague problems revealed by the video link that will occur when and if things go f2p..i will keep on playing....ive been in that sort of situation for many years,on different mmo`s,so i know my way around that sort of environment

If the game was FREE then yes more people would play.

I'm not sure how many would fall victim to microtransactions but for sure more would try a free game.

i gotta admit though,this is the first time ive gotten into an mmo before it goes free to play...its nice being able to see what things are like before the f2p plague (in the vid link i posted) happens

This game does not want to be f2p. Do you think a company like ea will employ so many staff and devs if they can't plan their revenue? The game will stagnate and there will be little content released if it goes f2p.

BW do not listen to these people p2p is the best way dont let them ruin the game.

If you cannot afford the subs for this game then you need to address more important failings in your real life then trying to get this game for free.
