+1 for this and I'm Republic! Please, it's not just a factional imbalance issue... some of us just DON'T LIKE HUTTBALL! Not to mention out of all the PvP games I've played (20+) I've only got Alderaan once and Voidstar twice.

I believe you can make Ops groups outside of the Warzones, which allows for larger groups, but I know what you mean. Guilds can't effectively war each other if they're depending on PvP options other than Warzones.

You can thank BioWare for making the Republic an unattractive faction. That is the cause of your problem OP.

The Empire has more attraction for the average gamer. The stories are better (with IA being likely the best in the game), the itemization is better (you look like a boss for the most part), the animations are better and the characters are better (npc & PC).

Where as the Republic has some of the most boring/whiny/I'm a wuss story lines, the itemization outside of trooper looks like burlap sacks or somehing the homeless wear, a lot of the high-end gear is just ridiculous (as a male sage you wear a wedding dress?), and the characters are either sissies, beggars or generally lack a spine.

The republic is more likely to attract a smaller base, more rollplayersale and more PvEers. The Empire is more likely to attract a bigger base, PvPers and more experianced mmo guilds.

huttball shows up the most because it is the only warzone that can play the same side against itself so if there are 16 people on empire wanting to pvp and only 3 republic it's going to give you huttball.

I agree though we should be able to choose what warzone match we want to do.

Who is "we"? I like huttball the most! Great warzone, where I can always find some nice 1 vs 1 fights.

Funny as republic i only get hutball maybe once a day tops. Which is out of like 20 warzones, On the main topic I agree for the filter but we know they'll never let empire vs empire in thos zones.
