Problem I find with east and west is people tend to not know the right direction. Neat thing about the mini map is looking at it the top will always be north and botom will be south then you just have to remember what you were taught in elementary school which for most players shouldn't be more then a few years ago. Never Eat Shredded Wheat in otherword N-E-S-W pretty easy folks!

so by that logic if your playing civil war or novo & run to the east side you actually forget where you ran after staying alive for awhile? noob much?

you must really struggle in huttball

I blame those darn keyboard locking goblins.
Damn the fool who said history doesn't repeat itself, he clearly was not talking about MMOS.

My guildies and I were enjoying a winning Novare Coast when this drew our attention.

uber nub to my friend: ***! You broke my my 60 second ooc stun! I was going to cap the node!
friend:...
Me: Umm, there are no 60 second CCs in pvp
Uber nub: OMG L2READ! YES THERE IS!
Courageous nub: YEAH UR DUM
Me: Fine, show me how you CC a player for 60 seconds...

They weren't dumb, just not familiar with MMO PVP conventions. These kind of situations help keep me grounded because even tator nubs like this can "earn" gear in PVP.

Target mark -as in first target to kill - placed on Sentinel.

Posted it in a similar thread a while back.

Waiting for Huttball to start and one vanguard says 'need 2 ppl for defence". Everyone just ignores him and we assume we know what he's doing (bad idea)

Turns out 'defence' means standing on our end-zone the entire match to kill people that get close. Although, he couldn't kill anyone and everyone just charged up to him.

Was just guarding Snow, a Sentinel comes from mid, at about 50m he uses Rebuk, at about 30m he use Camo, runs right by me and trys to cap as if I am invisible!

He's hoping you'd be laughing so hard that you'd forget to stop him. I think I actually had that happen to me once.
