Most reasonable people just want a free consolidation transfer to get all of there characters on to a single server AFTER the current transfers to balance populations are finished. It doesn't need to be now or soon, just free (at least initially). Many servers were completely dead and unplayable over 4 months ago. Before we had any sort of ETA on transfers. The ONLY choice was to reroll elswhere. It's not only the dead server situation that was created by Bioware, the unconsolidated characters situation was also caused by them. Hence, they should rectify both situations free of charge as they are able to.

Most posters in this thread are just hog-piling on the OP and ignoring this point. Consolidation transfers should be free not paid. Rerolls on high pop servers were not a player choice they were encouraged by BW customer support and they were effectively forced by having unplayable servers back in February.

I just want to say that I totally agree with the first poster on this topic. Because Bioware took so long to fix server populations, customers were forced to either restart on a new server, or quit. I'm sure I know which one bioware was glad that we chose. It is the least they can do after dropping the ball is to let people consolidate there characters if they so chose.

It isn't like most people made characters on high pop servers like the fatman for no reason, like I said above, it was either that or quit.

You were forced? lol. Far from it. Where was the gun to your head? Where was the noose on your neck ready to snap if you didn't reroll. You weren't forced to do ANYTHING. Stop blaming the developers for your lack of patience.

You had the choice of either sticking to your server and making the best of it, no matter how small the population or kindly unsubscribing until transfers came through. This wasn't some process that came out of the blue, transfers were mentioned a good 2 months ago if I'm correct.

2 months later, the long awaited transfers have arrived and now we have a plethora of super entitled players with their holy grail $15 dollars in pocket issuing some mundane revolution because the game isn't being run to THEIR preference. No one made you reroll, you made that choice. And now YOU are suffering for YOUR choice. Learn to take responsibility for your actions rather than dump it on the people who are working hard to get this game straight. Bioware is taking responsibility by enabling transfers for their mistake.

This is the cost (literally) of your impatience. Considering how low that cost will be, you should be happy that your life lesson was so cheap.

There were a player choice.. They chose their original server and they chose to reroll. While customer support may have endorsed this action because the player was being impatient and reenacting a veruca salt scene from Willy Wonka by no means reduces their responsibility for their own actions.

A lot of people that jumped ship to the high pop servers exacerbated the problems on their old servers in my opinion and have much more responsibility in the overall declining population of the game than anyone.

If you consider only having 4 or 5 people logged in and not people able to do warzones at all, my choice to not stick it out just sitting there doing nothing for 2 or 3 months not knowing what their solution would be, then there is no argueing with you. We obviously have totally different opinions on things.

You don't understand choice. There is no choice if one of the two choices it untenable. As an example, I could put a gun to your head and say you have two choices: give me your wallet or die from the bullet I put through your head. You would argue that you had two choices, I (and most reasonable people) would argue that you really had one choice because one of them was not viable.

Now, the example I gave is much more extreme than "dead-servers vs. rerolls" but the principle is EXACTLY the same. If you can't understand this there may be some remedial logic or philosophy courses at your local community college that can help.

Most people predicted that getting to Fatman would require a paid transfer. Did you really think Fatman would be the destination server of *free* transfers when you re-rolled there?

You're still in a better situation now than you were pre-transfers.
