Friend's Trial Broken?

I'm trying to get a friend on to try out the game. When I fill out the email address form I get this response..

"You've referred the maximum number of friends available at this time. Please try again later."

I am supposed to have 25 invites and I have used ZERO! What's up here guys?

If you are trying to send an invitation to your friend and receive the error message "You've referred the maximum number of friends available at this time. Please try again later." even if you have not used all the invitations, please ask the friend you are trying to invite to follow the steps below:
  • Log into www.ea.com with their Origin or EA Account Email address
  • Click on the Username in the upper right corner on the screen
  • Now select “Contact Preferences”
  • Tick the box “Contact me about EA´s products, news, events and promotions”
Once your friend has followed these steps please try to send an invitation again.

We are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further issues with this.

I'm trying to send a friend a trial as well and can confirm that they already took the steps you recommended. Should we just wait until you guys post something to say the issue is resolved (which is fine btw)?

You may want to throw a sticky up on the Friends Trial page if this is a known issue.

When the issue has been resolved, we will update you. Please make sure that your friend does not already have a Star Wars: The Old Republic/EA account with the email address he is trying to use.
