My advice would be to let the whiners have their way with this thread and for the rest of us to get back to the game.
There will be no more servers added to the list *today* so I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow...unless the game dies, they pull the plug, and there is no game tomorrow. Since, you know, that's a possibility since they decided to not work through the night adding servers to the list.
LOL, thanks for the chuckle.

Agree. Going to log my alt and relax a bit. I'm a guild leader also so its going to be fun moving. I'm honestly glad they shut it down. I didn't want to be "working" this late in the day either. ;p
May the Schwartz be with you....

What you and others like you seem to forget is, Bioware is not doing me any favors, I, WE are doing them a favor, we are paying for a service like any other so you dam right I will have that "I WANT IT NOW DADDY!" mindset because I pay for it with my hard earned money, I can see if this were a free to play MMO but it's not, we all pay for a service and that means we have a right to demand service if we see that it's not being met.

All the mergers are being done on there end there is no house calls, no sub contractors coming to your door step to install something only the lack of Bioware willing to put in the overtime to get this merger done, if that means having workers work double shift or having a night shift come in so be it.

Bioware works for you and I, don't you forget that because the moment you do that's when businesses start to shaft the customer.

Then maybe we should do what we can with the resources that we have, and that is $7.50 a month, they put in a half days work then I should put in a half monthly fee.

That's odd, because I know that in the Portland area, they don't schedule service calls late evening. They try to wrap things up by 8pm. Sure, if there's something that can be fixed over the phone, you can get that service 24 hours a day, but you're implying that all their services are fully staffed 24/7, which isn't the case.

And you're not always getting their A team either, even in the middle of the day. We've got an intermittent problem with our cable (yes, Comcast), where the internet gets very unreliable (DCs every 5-10 minutes, etc) and the TV picture pixelates. It will do this for several hours at a time, we've always reported it, and not once have we been able to get someone to come take a look at it while it's still happening. We've had three different techs out to fix it, but since the problem isn't happening while they're there, it's a royal pain to try to troubleshoot.

This is a new procedure for them, and I'm perfectly willing to let them say that it's only going to go on while their A team is around and fresh enough that they can properly react to anything that goes wrong.

So, you're sitting in the office and know that they all just took off, and aren't dealing with other things? Even if that is the case, your math is off, unless you think that the only thing they have to do is announce this, there's no pre-announcement prep or post-announcement work involved.

I do programming for a few clients, and no matter how much they want it, if *I* don't agree it's an emergency, they don't push me into pushing some new feature onto user-accessible servers too close to closing time M-TH, and from about noon on on Friday, just because if something goes wrong, that means that I'm working late to fix something. Sure, I'm perfectly willing to work late in the case of an emergency. You wanting to transfer RIGHT NOW doesn't qualify.

Lighten up because it is just a game.
This is where you are completely wrong. I'm not an RP'er at all, they could change my name to stupid and I don't care. I just want Qs to pop. I do however respect what others get from the product they pay for monthly. You understand that if they didn't merge/transfer that their product wouldn't continue to sell? It's not an act of kindness that they did this......

So many of you make excuses as to why it's okay that people can't experience what they paid for that it used to make me laugh. Now I worry that this type of service will become the norm thanks to people that accept a broken product and defend it. If you were lucky enough to be on one of a handful of servers that are healthy then my hats off to you, many of us were not.

I will end it here before I say something that will get me reported ......

I'm still waiting too...

It's okay you can make odd letters using alt and a series of #'s or add an ' in there somewhere. It'll be super fun trying to get an invite when you do so though.

Hi my name is N(alt160)k(alt160)zi(alt160) catch all that?

I know that doesn't make me feel better either but hey... maybe soon™ we'll get transfers right?
