Please sir, cease. You have no idea how this works, why they have stopped for the night and are now just making things up because you "want it now". Blizzards character transfer is automated, requiring only confirmation of a payment, no different then billing. The recruit a friend program requires approval and further technical support and is therefore only available during working hours.

This event is neither, It is a major, company wide undertaking of a magnitude that I tend to believe you cannot quite grasp. It is not at all support or service.
May the Schwartz be with you....

The night shift is there and trained to handle maintenance and repair, nothing more. You are not experiencing a "problem with your service". You are simply waiting for a major overhaul to continue. If you're service is interrupted, there are people to handle that on the night shift.
Yes I have, but my business is not a global business, I ran a local business and I sometimes worked till mid hours of the night to get the job done and it was only a 4 man crew, now if I had a multi million dollar business listed on the US stock market with hundreds of workers there would be no closing time, the business will run 24/7 with many shifts to keep the ball rolling and customers happy..

Hmm, I'll have to tell my son. He has Comcast and it took them a week to fix his internet. Heck it took them a couple of days to admit there was an issue. Oh, they did answer the phone right away, just took them a week to actually send someone out to fix it.

That's what you would like, but it's rather obvious that this is not the way it is. Just shrug it off and wait for the next batch. You're not the only one that has to wait, and with how smoothly things are going on here, most of the others that are still waiting to see where they're going, are being very understanding and patient. BW doesn't owe you any more for what they're currently providing. Chill out. If you don't like it, door is over there --------->

So if this is so important for the company, why dont they put in double shift to just get this finished ???? This is LIFE or NO LIFE for this game. They probably spent lots of millions making the game. Why not make a little bit extra effort now to please the customer.

I am wondering what the criteria for transfers is? Is it based on population? alphabetical?

On Anchorhead, there were 4 people in Coruscant, 5 on tanaris and 24 people on the fleet last night. It's hard to believe that there are servers with even lower population than this. Its been that way every day just about since 1.2, I make it a point to check before I log into Fatman.

If you have a planned schedule could you please post it so people know what to expect? Reminds me of how early play was for pre-orders. Half of us got to read posts about everyone having fun while we waited for our turn. Wasn't very good feeling.
