Will you resubscribe to SWTOR after 1.3?

I didn't play for a month, and ended my sub (still have a week of game time left). I started playing a week ago and there is a really good chance I will buy a game card and continue playing. The only real issue I have with the game is the lag problems I have and because I love doing dungeons I'm looking forward to the finder.

The game was pretty good when it launched, and it continues to improve. I'll probably stay even though I was unlikely to stay a while ago?

I know some people returning to this game on Wednesday, and I'm curious if I'm not the only one.
Absolutely not.

First off server transfers should be the second thing to do to fix the population issues. They needed to merge servers FIRST. That way you could see if whatever server your on will end up sufficient or not. Afterwards provide transfers for people who still want to move. By putting transfers first people will hit the popular servers and work their way down then more likely then not you'll have a lot of "light" servers.

Second, I hate the way they manage the game and as a seperate issue divided the republic from the Empire. The long and short of it is they seem to feel like because this game is star wars themed that they can mistreat their players. Well newsflash, people are leaving and most won't be lured back.

Lastly, the population issue wouldn't seems so bad if you EVER saw republics or empire leveling up on most of the planets even on pvp servers. Instead of the few (tatooine, hoth and etc) A cold war is suppose to be going on yet we never see anyone or can attack/sabatoge bases or do anything remotely interesting. Why are they so afraid of player conflict ? You can implement safe guards to griefing....anyway.

1.3 is just to retain people, plug a leak, I want to see a long term plan.

Edit:

Also exhaustion zones are dumb, no, very stupid. We have speeders but still have to pay for speeders to get by exhaustion zones.

I already unsebbed i got game time until mid august. Nothing could make me resub at this time. 1.3 offers nothing of interest, just more legacy crud.
The definition of insanity is to continue to do the same thing while expecting different results.

A thousand time this! I only wish haters would be a little less vocal, as I don't like rummaging through their **** every time I'm looking for sense, or value in the forums!

Same except mine runs out in a couple of weeks. I haven't logged in for 2 or 3 weeks now other than to put stuff on the auction and won't be re-subbing for 1.3 as it brings nothing for me. I might be back whenever the expansion hits.

I have never unsubbed but I hav enot been very active due to the pain of finding groups. With a LFG tool I might start playing more often if it works well. I am not a fan of guilds becasue of the drama that is in every guild and the fact that I Do not like being pestered to raid or group when I do not feel like it. As a healer that happens alot as well. So a LFG tool will make getting groups a lot less boring than standing around for hours trying to find people to run.

Sadly I'm obliged not to. First of all: for everyone defending the game there seems to be dozens spewing every kind of hatred which could only be described as a medieval style witchhunt. Second: I and many others as I've read it here know that the reason for this is that these guys from their point of view want "fun" they don't find. As it is not provided for them after paying money for their "fun" they get angry which of course is still understandable.
But the way they spew their anger at people who ARE having fun, is simply childish.

As an example check out some kids. One kid starts to play with something enjoying it, the other one will want his toy. Of course when he gets it, he will not all that much enjoy it, as lets say it's a tad difficult to have fun with it, like artistic or scientific toys. Let's say there are three possibilities:

a.) Puts it away forgets it.
b.) Learns from the other one how to play with it, starts to enjoy (which includes work)
c.) Gets angry/destroys it/tells the other one that he is stupid for playing this stupid game anyway "cuz he got better gamez" and will try to destroy his fun too, on a why would he have fun with something that isn't fun basis. In the worst case scenario he makes himself believe that only he can be right as he is an expert of playing with toys, so he will feel both powerful and smart.

I really don't want to be a wiseass it just helped me to write this down as writing helps me thinking. And I don't appriciate being called a fanboi as it is derogative and hateful and only used by type c.) opposed to being a fan of something which is not.
