Will you resubscribe to SWTOR after 1.3?

I'm keeping my spirits up for 1.3, but it really all comes down to what transfers actually do for this game.

If transfers happen without a hitch, and servers are vibrant with people again and they remain that way, then I will definitely renew my subsciption because I REALLY want this game to succeed and I want to play it.

However, if transfers happen and the servers, even after being repopulated, continue to decline and subscription numbers continue to drop, then I will most likely be bidding this game a regreftul farewell.

I still can't believe it's come to this; the game I followed for years with the anticipation of a child on Christmas morning; barely 6 months in and I'm hanging on by a thread. Reguardless of whether I enjoy it or not, knowing a game is slowly dying and being uncertain of it's future just really takes the fun out of it.

look at how successful swtor was before it launched, but now?
You're kidding right? SWTOR was about as successful as the million games that came before it and you know why? Hype. You couldn't go to a forum without seeing some kids declaring it a WoW killer and a million guys having avatars of their future SWTOR characters.

Some people simply didn't like it so they left nothing new there. But now look at things everyone and their mum pretty much have GW2 avatars now and people speak of that game as if it was the second coming, hype = stupidity half those guys will end up trolling the GW2 forums soon.

A new released MMO will never keep all it's subscribers a mistake EA / BioWare failed to realise which lead to the current server situation.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results.

Yep.

The very same people hyping GW2 as the second coming will be the same jokers on the GW2 forums saying "The Elder Scrolls Online is going to crush this game when it comes out. Watch!"

Since this isn't the case I'm sure I'll be unsubscribing as soon as the announcement is made on Tuesday. BioWare really should have just limited server selections when the game was launched and added as needed.
no MMO lets you transfer PVE to PVP. that is an unrealistic expectation.

I don't think so.
My main toons are on Lord Calypho and I heard the server has 20-ish people at prime time on Fridays.
I have also heard that there's no transfer to/from Lord Calypho.

So, unless this is changed, the chance that I'm coming back is zero.

Really, that's what happens?

Correction, wow allows you to transfer from any server to any server. So not so unexpected. Here it shouldn't matter.
Super Kami Guru: "NAAAAAAILLL, why can't I participate in Ranked Warzones?"
Nail: "It wont be out until 1.3, Lord Guru."

that is news to me i'm assuming this is with the paid character transfer. I'm sure there was a HUGE uproar over it. All that really shows is that WoW has really gone down hill.

I am unsubbed and last date is the 20th.I not sure when 1.3 comes out.I have D3 and it is a credit grind also.I enjoy playing the game portion. The 1-60 in D3 or 1-50 in SWTOR.I am not a fan of Monopoly.1.3 looks like there is some nice perks coming out.We will see.I played the GW 2 Beta this weekend and I not sure if I am going that route.I played GW and D2 over 6 years each. What kept me in those game so long is being able to get my own chrs gear thru mfing and a small part crafting .Crafting for 1-50 really needs some work.Funny thing is SWTOR got me hooked on PVP.About 3 weeks before ME 3 came out I got caught up in it.Hopefully the server merges will improve getting into a game quicker.
I really like the idea of xp bonuses for legacy. It wont make it such a grind. The thing is it is a game.Games are suppose to be fun.Let the players have some more control and ALL CHRS on my account are mine.Cut back some more on this bound crap.If I find something let me be able to use it for a chr on my account.
Just a note:So far what I have seen of GW2 beta and the many hours on D3.I think Tor is better.Just my opinion.

It was added at the end of 2008, well after the paid transfers and yes it caused troubles.
