I wont say they dont exist...but the only crap I experienced is typical MMO stuff...Nothing out of the ordinary...I remember Boarding Party where the last chest couldnt be looted...sometimes NPC's dont fall down when they are killed...but thats really about it...Nothing to complain about nor have I played a single MMO that didnt have some kinda F*up...Even the almighty WoW had its glitches for years

Stop comparing this game to WoW on launch day.

What matters is how you do vs your current competition. WoW did great, The verdict is still out on this game.

The main issue with this game is the content release schedule seems to be a bit long.

There are people even on my server who are just now getting into HM EV and KP and Story Denova. But I've been raiding on the edge of content for weeks. If I didn't change factions post 1.2 I'd be in full Campaign gear by now. If your just now hitting level 50, and starting operations, and your having higher geared players run you through content, You've got a good 2 or 3 month lead time before you catch up right now, maybe add another month once they come out with Nightmare Denova.

The problem is you run out of operation content to keep running once your on the edge.

My current guild only logging in right now to do a few hours of operations each week and then they're off doing other stuff until next week. And they're almost done gearing too. I've got a few more weeks of running Hardmode Denova before I get all of my Campign gear, but in a few weeks I'll have everything I need too.

Bioware's only major shortfall is they haven't given us enough reason to log in every day.
Al'den, Jedi Guardian, Level 50, The Bastion, 4/4 EC HM
Jindo, Mercinary, Level 50, The Swiftsure, 3/4 EC HM
Jiindo, Power Tech, Level 27, Squadron 367

Just like your post, for example.

Technical issues aside, There is no other MMO that has the fun factor as SWTOR. Some of the others have cool elements in them or pretty graphics, but overall they are a snorefest. Even the newest MMO's. They loose their shine very quickly. I would've loved to see some changes in this game however, but at this point some of those changes would be unrealistic, as the other changes I would like done would be more than doable. The game can only improve as time goes by.

Yes they have given us enough reason to log in every day. You refuse to acknowledge those reasons, is why you don't see them.

Nice to have you back!

I think the game is starting to overcome the causes of the recent sub loss, most importantly the issue of server population, and it wouldn't surprise me of it comes out strong. I don't see it beating WoW but neither do I understand why it has too.

Everyone seems to be so fixated with subscription numbers and how well it competes with the other big ones out there. As long as my server is populated and Bio is making a healthy profit to keep evolving the game, it doesn't affect my life the slightest how million players there are. I won't be able to play with them all even if I tried my best

Sure, with more subscriptions we might see faster updates and new content, but even so, as I don't think it will be up there with the other big ones, I don't think an additional million subscription would result in any notable difference... Measurable maybe, but not something I would notice in my life. For me, the updates come when they come

I love the game, not only updates and I'll keep playing this for a long time to come! And should I one day find myself not playing it as much, I guess I could always play two games simultaneously

This has been an issue since 2004 and they still haven't been able to fix it? I thought waiting 6 months was a long time, but that's ridiculous. I kept thinking they should have addressed this in April at the latest, but I guess they should have been talking about it in 2005. Sloooow and inflexible development.

Damn right its worth coming back, glad to have you back. I greatly enjoy this game and long live SWTOR!

Bioware is doing an admirable job of adding new content at a good pace. The only major gripe people should have about things, imo, are the server population issues and with transfers coming Tuesday we should see this problem resolve itself soon.

SWTOR has plenty to do at end-game right now. We have 4 warzones, 14 raid bosses spread across two tiers and 3 difficulty levels (not including NM EC that is NYI). Plus we have many world bosses...and I seem to recall many WoW players in Wrath and Cata lamenting the lack of world bosses like we had in TBC and vanilla. Plus we have new raid and pvp content coming, likely this year! I fail to see how people can say there is "nothing to do" once we get server pops fixed. Plus I'm super excited to see the new mechanics and tech they are working on for Nightmare modes.

I think the QQers complain about SWTOR like people complain about Lebron James. Friday, after James put the Heat on his back and crushed the Celtics in game 6 to force game 7 I still heard several sports talking heads blasting Lebron for not "doing it in the 4th quarter." Pst...he didn't have to do it in the 4th because it did it so greatly in 1 through 3. Nothing he does is ever good enough and too many people do this to Bioware. SWTOR is a great game. So what if it doesn't have the same level of polish that WoW has. WoW is almost 8 years old, of course Blizzard has had a lot of time to polish things. WoW was Blizz's first MMO too, as is SWTOR for Bioware. Enjoy the content Bioware has provided and then watch as they turn SWTOR into an even better gameplay experience.
