What quote of yours do you want me to use when same server lfg isnt working? Where do you get confidence like this out of thin air? is it just complete ignorance? If you think que times will be fine a month after this thing launches and the novelty wears off youre on crack.

Like ive asked a dozen times before, Why will same server lfg work in swtor when it has failed in every other game its been tried in?

"Expecting BW to jump through hoops for him"???? He Should! Are we NOT paying $15 a month for "Online Services"???? We're doing BW the favor by showing a loyal interest in their game and offering information on what we think will improve the game for the better. It's not Bioware doing US the favor, there's a million other games out but we choose to play this one. Sounds like Stockholm Syndrome to me lol. I talked to a handfull of EA and Bioware Devs at E3 this past week and they all said they have people hired specifically to skim through the forums and keep in touch on every and any little thing so that they can please US, the Member. We've already done our part by subscribing they have to do theirs now. Why should anyone HAVE to reroll?? I rerolled to fatman because I like the game that much, others, are like eff it, not doing a full 50 ALL OVER again and subs drop. Just don't....sit there and be Bioware's B***, if more people were like you nothing around here would get fixed, the devs would just be like EH...whatever problems you got in the game, figure it out, work within it, help yourself.

The PTS server is pretty small in population, and can be compared to a medium pop server. I expect populations to be a lot better 2-4 weeks down the line when the server transfers are happening and happened so to speak as it'll take a good couple of weeks for people to transfer and settle into their new homes.

Now you have to understand a few things:

1. When i went on the PTS on the first day, 40-60 people on fleet over a 2 hour period. First flashpoint qeue took literally 10 seconds, the second took about 30 sec to a min max.

2. It's been a few days, and although LFG tool is a mjor part of the patch, not everyone there on fleet is testing it. Infact many are more interested in testing all the augment stuff and adaptive gear as well as new legacy perks.

Cross server LFG tool cannot just be created out of thin air within a week - so they cant just convert it now. They already said cross-server lfg tool is a last resort from them, so maybe it'll happen in future.
But whether it happens or not solely depends on how well transfers help populations into a handful of heavy pop servers - and whether or not the super servers become a reality in the next few months.

Thanks for this input. It is factual and some seem to forget BioWare made TOR as a money maker, not to sit back and let it please a small select few. The best way for them to improve TOR and make it even better is to listen to the player's input and then see if thier own internal tracking data shows which to be true. Even the elite hardcore players need to be listened to and provided with content for them. But the more numerous casual players have to be looked after also. I will once again quote this post made by a Blizz moderator as a reference to what I am saying, this was in response to some on thier forums complaining about a feature in the game....

....... "By looking at actual stats, actual progression, time spent playing, where, and to what extent, ... so yes, we absolutely are able to tell without a doubt that the plan we're enacting is actually what players playing the game want and need, and are not just listening to people on the forums."

Why do you think wow and rift moved to a cross server lfg tool? why do you think swtor can support a cross server lfg tool when those two games could not?

Its not a matter of them not having the cross server tech, if they said "we will be brining you cross server lfg, we are working on it, but heres same server lfg to hold you over" i would be fine, But they did not say that, they said cross server lfg was a "Last resort".

PTS is a small pop server ( 40 - 60 ) but can be compared to a medium pop server? Which is it? I was on my server last night..prime time and there were 11 players in Fleet. And I am interested in what role did you fill for those fast ques?

You do make some good points tho..I think one issue now is from a technical side BioWare does need more time to come out with any cross server LFG tool. And they are hoping the same server one along with transfers will solve the issue. Because it will mean less programming time for them to devote to it, thus freeing up more time for other stuff. But I still feel like this is where thier MMO planning and direction on challenging the existing top MMO's was poorly done.

And you call me silly at times. lol! If a same server tool is working well, then why would any MMO come out with a cross server one? I mean..get real...fix something which is not broken? I only know about WoW and Rift. Which it did fail.

Loss of the community feel? the community is still right there on your server, chatting on the fleet, in your guilds.

Getting to play with other players all the time at the cost of the ocassional *** player which you tend to run into on your own server anyway is totally worth it tbh.
Yes but if kept to server only then that jerk player can be black flagged and remembered. Unless they allow me to put certain players on a my own blackflag list so that they can never be considered when matchmaking with me i wont want it to be xserver.

Its just about now when I have made a good circle of friends spanning many guilds whom i group with but if they start using the lfg too i dont want jerks alowed in to muck it up...
