50-70 people on the PTS fleet but no queue pop with the LFG tool. I checked all the boxes trying to get anything to pop. Nothing. The transfers better make the servers pretty big or I expect that tool to be pretty useless. They probably should have just went with a xserver tool.

They need to just make it cross-server LFG.

Loss of the community feel? the community is still right there on your server, chatting on the fleet, in your guilds.

Getting to play with other players all the time at the cost of the ocassional *** player which you tend to run into on your own server anyway is totally worth it tbh.

You'll probably want to post in the PTS forum.
They have a 7-page (as of now) thread on the LFG tool...

The hero engine doesn't cope well with transferable shards if I remember correctly. Hence why they never scripted a programme for char transfers.

I don't care, Bioware should have known better than this. People on the forums told them that they should have done a xserver tool. they didn't listen. Let it go live and then maybe after four more months of forum QQ they will get it right.

I agree with you here. Not sure why the community was so vocal about something yet they just went ahead with something else.

X-server stuff is fine when so much of this game is based around warping to flashpoints and warzones.

Not at all surprised. This is exactly what will be happening for the most part when it goes live also. Same server LFG tool is going to fail, esp on lower pop servers. Many of us have allready made a ton of posts warning this would happen.

People asked for a LFG tool, and still are gonna be mad that they have a LFG tool? You know folks, people need to blame themselves too you can't put everything on the devs when they are giving you a LFG tool. The players need to use it themselves to make it work, its not like it can just be put there and magically it all works.

Yep, many of us thought it was ludicrous they went same server only. We could be wrong, but I think in a few months we will suddenly hear how they have decided to go cross server LFG after all.

This from the person who refuses to either reroll OR transfer servers, but expects BW to jump through hoops for him. Cross server LFG may not even be needed once server transfers happen and the population increases on some servers, but people have to use it. If no one is using it, what makes you think a cross server tool would be any better? Of course, you will have those people, like yourself, who refuse to do anything to improve their situation with regards to server population, and so a single server tool may not work for them.
