I agree with what you said but, our ships have many doors on them, they could almost just make a generic conversation room or make another deck that offers customization in a way. Just thinking outside the box
Still here since December 2011.

uh..this is going to sound blunt but...whatever

have you been paying attention in cutscenes?? they basically phase you out (in the case of being near aggressive mobs) and have placements for camera's where dialogue's will happen....

watch a cutscene near some NPC's that move (preferably ones that will aggro on you) and you'll see they're still there doing their thing....talk to someone on the bridge of your ship mid-hyperspeed and you'll see the star animation still playing...etc.

so no..it wouldn't be hard to do...as the camera would just pick up what's around you like it does any other time.

They made great games with Microsoft they have made great games with EA. DA:O was "old BioWare", it was started before 2004. Everything they've done under EA has been competently produced ***** - DA2, ME2 & 3, all far shallower and more "streamlined" for console than anything BW has done before.

Basically, they're games designed by focus groups.

And now SWTOR. Basically a mess - good in parts, but totally unfocussed.

BioWare, the "classic" BioWare, the BioWare that made a name for itself in the business by producing innovative, immersive CRPGs, is now dead and gone. It's a different company with a different ethos now, only the name is the same, and they're trading on the name. But I have a feeling that after the above-mentioned disappointments, and now SWTOR, they're not going to be able to trade on it for much longer - not unless they get some sense and make a proper CRPG again with DA3.

I'll say this I enjoy this game, here since early access, never asked for the free time awarded (though nice), hoped to see results of some kind. This was a day I would have liked to have seen Bioware take a page out of Sony's book from last years E3......admit your mistakes, let your player base know your dedicated to them. I heard a bunch of things we heard before, fastest to a million yada yada. That's great release / launch had hype.

Since those days in late December what have we really gotten? We asked for ranked PvP and Ilum to be fixed, what we received was more rakghoul's. Yes, there were other things, but has it been what we collectively want? I would have loved today for Bioware to address serve populations and a way to fix them, an announcement that Ilum has been fixed. Instead, what we most likely got was stuff that is a long ways off. The game need results now, it needs to be fixed now, and that doesn't really mean more content to hide whats not fixed. Once upon a time another Star Wars MMO didn't really admit and make good on their mistake's and I think many of us know what happened there.

I've believed for a long time Bioware "was" one of the best companies for RPGs out there, the thought of them making an MMO excited me to play one again. Then EA happened to them, became the puppeteer of a once great company. I hope the game gets fixed but there is nothing that is being shown that shows it, I'll stick around for love of Star Wars but how long do you expect many to stick around Bioware.

Flame if you wish but i think we the paying customer deserve more and a company with some amazing games and incredible IPs should get with it.
I share this guys opinion about customer service. I would like to see what server some of you guys are on as well, come over to the deadwieght and see if your post remain so optimistic. As well I think that everyone can agree they need transfers now. I just logged on and there are 40 people online on the empire side on the entire game. It has been like this for 3 months atleast on my server. They do need to get with the program.

I re-rolled to a busy server while waiting for transfers and am having the time of my life in this game.

You chose not to do that because Im guessing "You shouldnt have to! Its Biowares problem, not mine!".........well to bad.

No my friend, how can liking a game be delusional? it is merely an opinion. Is it not far stranger not to accept that there are hundreds of thousands of people enjoying this game?

The true delusional people here are the haters that keep saying this game is horrible and the subs must have dropped below 500k by now. They for some reason believe that this game will fundamentally change so that it goes from horrible to good in their heads. It wont (unless they are lying...quite possibly). If you think this game is horrible...go away. It shows serious lack of character to continue to post negatively on forums of a game you are likely never going to enjoy.

If you think you are going to enjoy this game with changes that will come in the near future than you might not think it so horrible and are quite frankly...overdramatizing.

Although I agree with the general tenor of your post, I don't think it's so delusional to say that now.

And I am someone who foresaw that the initial d00m claims of "dead after first month" would be wildly inaccurate.

I am also someone who predicted 1.5m for a time when the true figure was 1.3m - not too bad, I'm sure you'll agree, considering the amount of d00msaying prior to that.

Now, I'm seriously thinking subs are going to drop precipitously after the 6+1 month subs are up.

How far? Well, I'd be very surprised if it's below 500k, but I think it's likely to be barely above. 700-800k at best.

On what basis do I say this? Simply that there are very, very few players playing the game on any except a very few servers like Fatman, etc. I made my 8 toons in the first month on a server which, at that time, was busy, almost as busy as Fatman is now. There was never any problem getting people to play with. Now, that server is almost dead (20-30 people in Fleet).

Ea owned BioWare when they made DA. Also..I really enjoyed ME2, as did tons of other players. It is only the last year or so which BioWare seems to have lost thier quality production status. I will be very hestitate to buy any BioWare games from now on until they can reassure me they have returned to what made them so good to begin with. No matter what they come out with, I will not buy them until I first take the time to read the reviews and player's input.
Trust is something which is earned.
