Cathar though, seriously? Out of all the possible Star Wars alien races, they went for anthropomorphic cats - as if there weren't enough of these already in MMOs, fantasy games, Skyrim et cetera. Really not playing to the strengths of the brand, did EA tell you that you had to have cats?

I think 1.3 is called Allies because of the LFG tool and the transfers...

I seem to remember a QA where someone said 1.3 is gonig to focus mainly on the LFG and transfers and not much else new in that.

One way to find out. If I remember correctly, the quest to get him was on Hoth in beta. When 1.3 hits, everyone will scour Hoth for him and see if he is there.

From what I know, TORhead had all the lines and everything datamined. From what I read:

-He is pretty unique and interesting and is not just a "copy/paste" of HK-47 entirely.
-He does not say meatbag as he is not programmed too.
-He is available to all classes.
-He is accessed through a quest on Hoth.

My big question though is whether or not we will have skins for him. I like his default color-scheme but if there is a pure black (like from KotOR II) or rusty red (like HK-47) then I will take it. Hell, if they have one skin for each color of the rainbow, I will not complain, the more variety the better. Companion customization skins would be most welcome.

Also, his class role. I would like him to have a tanking stance and a DPS stance so he is accessible to most classes and class combinations, especially when geared.

I'm sure there'll be customization kits for him as well. Maybe a camo one would be pretty bad*ss, or the classic rusty colour.

Camo would be nice. I would want a snow camo, as well as jungle camo though for some variety.
