Bought a 6 months sub at launch thinking its star wars....how could it fail?

Unsubbed 2.5 months in...and just shake my head that the star wars license / name is allowed to be be dragged through the mud by being attached to this disaster they call a game

Drop the star wars attachment and maybe I am more forgiving of your short comings and "first attempts at an MMO" diatribe....attach star wars to it and you had better deliver greatness or don't bother showing up...period....full stop

In my opinion you should have just stayed home...or at least taken more time to test, focus group, and develop before you released final version

Now where do we get refunds...?
They don't want us to talk and they could care less what we think...this is the hard reality

I got the 6 months sub. and unsubbed about a month back.. I still play a fair bit, but will not be resubbing when it runs out (70 odd days).

I will be playing GW2, and will sub for that.... oh wait thats right... there is NO sub fee for that... oh Happy DAYS....
Look at the size of that thing

I actually unsubbed a few months ago but saw a 60 day time card on sale, i figured the retailer was just dumping them off at a loss to make room or whatever so i bought one this was a few weeks before 1.2 hit so i was a little curios then the free time came in and the epic post 1.2 nose dive it was worth the 20 bucks..
I have no idea how much time i got, Ill just entertain myself waiting for the day i cant log in. Its funny though how a game based on progression that you cant actually progress in cause nobody is around..

You should make a youtube video, make sure you are hystarical and crying when you do,. I would watch that.

You are only as good as the last game you made..... welcome to western society capitalism...

yes i know lots were reported and many were ignored by devs.. not exucsing them.. they need to fix them and should have listened. .b ut posts like yours make me wonder who exactly was testing, and not trying the game out..
Huh are you really that naive... of course Beta is a hook.. yes its a way of getting the gasme tested live, stress testing certain things like servers blah blah.. but its a marketing hook more than anything, it allows them to take a look into the demand of a game not just the quality of it under pressure of live....

Playstyle and speed and very litle relevance when testing.. I can run the same planet on two identical toons but at different pace.. I still do all the same things, get the same things, kill the same things, travel the same rails... cos ya see the planets never change what is there, is there and nothing you do alters that.. so once its tested its tested, Im not going to spend hours going back and forth to check, double check etc etc... Beta testing was only soo long ya know... and incase you missed it, many of the game bugs that were stick outs were at high level / endgame etc where fewer players got enough time to get there in beta.... we dont all sit on the game 24/7 ya know.

Post like yours speak volumes...

So in less then 24 hours there has been about 33-35 people that have posted that they will not be playing the game any longer within the next month or two when sub stops.

Just think about that for a second these post are only the people that are still trolling forums and people that had the b@lls to be honest.

What about everyone else, the ones that aren't on the forums ect... ect...

That just sounds scary to me that there wont be anyone left for trans/merges

SO in cunclusion Plz PLZ we beg of you give us some solid info to go on. There is another post about "Hope"
and hope is what the few of us left need.

If this is a dailey trend of about 35 people quitiing/unsubing think off what the numbers really are
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. From what I heard from someone who knows one of the recently unemployed (maybe its just sour grapes but it was pretty detailed to be made up) SWTOR was losing 5 to 7 thousand subs a day, that the number of subs when they were laid off was closer to 1 million and that there would likely be another round of layoffs when they hit 750,000 subs.

Oh and I'm just waiting for my time to run out as well.

Not played for about 3 weeks, have 14 days left of my free month. I plan to start a healer in Rift and play that for a few months.

Bought 6 month sub at launch (as well as early August pre-order), cancelled a few weeks after 1.2. Free time runs out mid august and I'm not planning on resubbing unless they /fix PvP. Also, haven't played in a few weeks due to lack of motivation for logging in due to the rest of my guild doing the exact same thing.
