I feel I have to say this type of thing to at least one person who posts like this.

Because you know the intricate workings of Bioware, EA and you know, for fact, how they work, what they do and how they choose to advertise, and what they choose to tell the press? You know this all for a fact? Why? Cause you have some mystical knowledge of what goes on in their boardrooms, you have an insider who tells you nothing but fact? You are there in their offices now hiding in the broom closet?

I don't think you have any of that. Personally I believe people who spout off this type of stuff are pretty much making it up. You have no fact and no proof to back up these claims, so they end up just being your opinion, and you choose to be negative. Just sayin.

I do not say Madden games have not improved over the years, PS3 compared to Sega Genesis, yeah Madden has come a long way- though incrementally at best, to me there is little change yearly to the franchise that makes it stand out from the previous year.

To me rating a game like Madden, which has been out years, over a game like TOR that is supposed to be a new and exciting title as well as a monthly income- well its bothersome, it seems to indicate that the game is being religated to the far back burner on the priority list. And it just reached its 6th month anniversary, that is just not a good sign.
Well it's not like they put it on the back burner. It just wasn't in their top 5. What were the games again? Madden, Fifa, Sims, Battlefield and I forget the other one. Either way those are all mega sellers so I don't see it as a insult to SWTOR more like EA has a lot of other major franchises.

Well, I would have to ask how do you know they do not could the first "free" 30 days? Thats an "active subscription"- you do not even get to start playing that free 30 days unless you buy a time card or give up your credit card number.

I would bet you that the first 30 days "free" is counted toward "active subscriptions".

That may be, but there probaly won't be sufficient subs to make the turnaround.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rJ_JLb2cHE how space combat should be!

Pretty sure they'll count all trial and free time accounts in that time too. Many also count within the last billing period AND the prior 30 days as "active" too.
Real Star Wars space combat please, not Star Wars Fox! Maybe some PvP and flight too?

Ahh yes... the messiah patch.

You can mark any game's success or failure by the posting trend from fanboys on the official forums. We're just past the"gloating over overstated subscriber numbers" stage and have arrived at the "empty-servers while the community begs for server merges" phase. Always during this phase there's a new patch in the offing, coming "soon." For fanboys, this is known as the "messiah patch" stage.

I read the article and all the comments, I have cut and pasted the last comment below (sadly I think this guy is fairly representative of quite a lot of 'subscribers') :-

Spoiler

Please do not read this spoiler if you are a happy player and content with SWTOR

Nope, no mistical knowledge as you put it, its not magic, its just plain old "information" from the articles, from SWTOR.com.

I use the skills known as "reading comprehension", sometimes even "logical thinking". Try that.
