Bioware's SWTOR isn't a Blizzard game. Warcraft, even Pre-WOTLK, doesn't come close.

I like this game and ill be playing it a while but I dont think any of it is innovative, I like the voice overs and story telling alot but EQ2 did it before and possible a game i haven't played.

I don't like the crafting in this game, sure standing crafting the same recipe over and over again is boring but so is clicking a button and waiting 8 minutes.

The ship battles are so repetitive I was looking forward to them then once I finished the first one the rest are kinda tedious..

Dont get me wrong, its not a bad game and I shall continue playing but its definitely nothing special at the moment.

Those are all excellent features and definite hooks for players tired of WoW, but I still fail to see why comparing SWTOR to WoW is not allowed. After all, despite how compelling these features are, what do you spend the core of your game time doing? Try answering that question without coming up with an answer that also works for WoW (or any of its clones).

I love how they manage to put every individual player in the centre even though its a mmo and how they really managed to produce a involving story for each class. Heck, every time you log on you are reminded about your part in the story and why you are special.

Queuing

There's really nothing "FPS" about the game, but I do agree that space combat is a blast. Definitely reminds of my Star Fox days on the SNES and Nintendo 64. If they follow through with their promises of expanding space combat and making it open flight like in X-Wing/Tie Fighter then we'll have something truly magical on our hands.
