Like has been said multiple times, PvP happened on a PvP server. If the OP isn't prepared to meet the opposition anywhere other than fleet they need to find another server type.

That being said I'm not all hardcore "if it's red it's dead" either. I feel there are degrees of 'ganking' lowbies. Out in the open with no means of support it's borderline lame and a waste of time. However, imo inside a base/town with the support of guards or other 40s it's not. With only 10 levels difference a 40 with lvl 50 guards nearby they have a fair chance of turning the table on the enemy.

In the end the player has to change their mindset and understand what PvP means or realize they made the wrong choice.

yeah, this pretty much.... all my lvling experience was spent alone.... =X I've go ganked by lvl 50s here and there (I was the first messing with them ) but never had constant encounters with the other faction...

The only exception to this was when they made the world event on Tatooine

Welcome to the PvP servers with actual players on them.

Fatman is more like how every single PvP server should be. That is the reason people flock to it. With so many people flocking to it then of course they have a reason to camp and gank lowbies..... once again welcome to PvP.

Make friends, ask for help from your faction or do something else that isn't in the camped area. Those are your options and BioWare shouldn't have to regulate the players more than they already have. There are very little open world pvp areas in the game as it is even on PvP servers.

If you absolutely can't stand gankers or being ganked then PvP servers are not for you. It's just part of the territory. Personally I am not a lowbie ganker. I do however love to gank these lowbie gankers... so I am all for them continuing to stir up trouble. It gives use real PvPers something to look forward to.

i have two 50's on that server (empire) and i approve of this random act of kindness. since you were nice enough to post your toons name ill pass it along to any bored 50 looking to kill a hour or three.

It's just the way it is... Same reason why Ilum was a collosal failure. People thump their chests about fun and even fights but in reality everyone just want's a sure thing. Hence why open world pvp has to be "incentivized" and when it is people work their hardest to cheese the reward systems while the "spontanious" portion of world pvp goes on in lowbie zones in form of schadenfreude sessions. Nothing you can really do about it but weep for humanity.

Nothing is safe in pvp, except fleet cause bioware forgot to put in a drop ship for our invasions QQ.

Yeah for real! I used to go to the park to look for fights, if I saw some little kid, I would just kick him in the face, in the hopes that he would go home and get his big brother or father to come fight me, (But I would leave if they showed up). These whiny onlookers were always like, "dude you're a 250lb 30yo man, why are you body-slamming a 10yo girl? That's wrong." And I was like "Pfft, stupid care bears! It's not wrong, it's EXCITING! I'm not a bully, I'M AWESOME! And if you don't think I'm awesome you should get out of my country! This is AMERICA! Go back to France!"
