There we go.....I think we will all live to see another day, play another day,and be dissapointed in some of the choices we make........I doubt AC choices will have that deep an impact or be life altering.
Just make sure you research which AC youde like on the next charactor and research the ton of info on the holonet so you dont repeat the same mistake over and over and over.

If AC are classes then all talents tress speccing should be named classes.

Would only work if they have
  • Different story classes,
  • No shared talent tree
  • Different look for gear
  • Different color for gear
  • Different companion
  • Different space ships

It's way to much development time so don't expect it anytime soon.

That the point. They kept saying no and now they are obliged to change their mind. It will come, trust me.

Exactly why are the obliged to change their mind? Because you said so?

They haven't exactly changed their minds on a ton of other things so far. So I fail to see why anyone would expect them to change it on this.

Short version:
Because they want to keep paying customers not loose them and there are more casual players in MMO than hardcore ones.

Long version:
Most players won't re-roll a character nor roll a character of the same AC/different AC. Only the hardcore ones would.
The concept of "clueless" players about insert class here is not an issue for most casuals. They are here for the fun. So much that many casual I know of even use way lower gear than they should because it looks cool. there are even players not using specific skills because they don't like them!

The idea of mastering or earning the right to play a specific class isn't a casual one. They don't care. It's not a second job for them nor they need to feed their epeen either.

Finally you have more paying casual gamers than hardcore ones. By hardcore I mean players that can spend 20+ hours on their MMO each week.

The math is that simple devs and hardcore might not like it but casual (think $$$) request it and even some hardcore do too. So as it would not ruin the hardcore game play that much either it has to be and it will be implemented someday.

Jut one example: why do you think they are wasting $$$ on improving the tutorials when people like us (hardcore) have no use of it? The suits love casual because they keep playing and don't burn the content and seldom /forum_rage_quit/threaten.
Note making good tutorial is long, complex and costly. There are many things you could do for hardcore with these resources...

i hope your patient
like 5-10 years patient...

i understand you want it, but that is wishful thinking, in a Q&A, the devs themselves said they considered the AC as separate class and there was no discussion about AC change.

but i will never be able to convince you, only time (years) will convince you so let just wait and see, shall we ^^

[QUOTE=Deewe;4493520]If AC are classes then all talents tress speccing should be named classes.

I say it simply then, each AC has talent trees, therefore the AC is a class by itself, like mage, or warlock, or paladin. Not every talent tree is a class. But classes have talent trees. Besides, you missed the point of the entire post. Don't try to twist words around if your gonna fail at it.

Most people play their class from start to end an still don't know how to play it so the ability to change it doesn't really matter. This game isn't that hardcore to figure out having the ability to change isn't that big of a deal.

Advanced CLASSES are not specs. They are classes. Talent tree specs are specs. Class changing should never be allowed. Spec changing is fine. Don't like your class, do what I did and reroll. Yes, I rerolled a high level just to change from Vanguard class to Commando class. I am now happily a Gunnery Commando and almost back to max level.
SWTOR is a MORPG. Multiplayer online Roleplaying game.

There is nothing Massively about it.
