Why in the hell would the name Anemia be considered Offensive, Abusive or Defaming ???? I got a message from someone at TOR claiming just that.

Yet, names like Synful and various tweeks on parts of the human anatomy are no problem.

I think they are going a bit out on a stretch here. If I was on an RP server, maybe; however, I'm not.

Guess I'll see if they kill my character. If so, I'll be skipping my retail purchase.

Anemia = blood disease. I guess thats why its offensive, like walking around being called 'Aids' or something.

They were happy to sensor crap on my server.
On a UK server.
Guess Bioware is completely out of touch with Britian.
I have pre-ordered the Collectors Edition, by doing this I am automatically elevated above the rank of Pleb and I am entitled to the rights of a nobleman.

You would think that they would have more things to complain about.

I guess the Devs have a little free time. I haven't had a single complaint or in-game comment that I was offending anyone. I also play well with others and have been in a few groups. Not a single player gripe.

I like funny names, and the rude ones tickle me a bit, but I suppose if you have kids playing it's a bit iffy.

Yeah we're not able to have any name that may be offensive to anyone in anyway. We have an extremely obese option 4 because the game has to be politically correct even if it makes no sense. We're not able to have an opinion on the forums either. Also we're not able to ...basically do anything without racking infraction warnings. Keep letting your mods run around on power trips Bioware and please do make sure not to ever take a chance of offending anyone ever! People will get sick of it and leave eventually.

It does seem odd that they've picked on anemia. I don't see what category that could have come under in their naming policy.

And I presume some sad individual felt the need to report you as the name was not automatically not available in name creation.
Help me, Bio-Ware Support; you're my only hope.

Anemia is not offensive in anyway, but I guess some idiot reported you, maybe though its close to being rude in some other language.

I remember they used to have a car named then the Ford Pinto, in Portugese this means a male Genital. and dont ask the Spanish what a Mitsubishi Pajero is
I can't brain today...I have the dumb

Anemia is not offensive, hell,I have a type of it and I would pick the name,if anything those with Anemia should be considered survivors cause it is a harsh disease, although its not as bad as some names i've thought of,such as Typhoid, hell,if Comics can have characters named after diseases why cant Star wars?
