Legacy unlocks costing $$$ = fail. I'm Legacy 41 and have virtually nothing to show for it because I refuse to spend my hard earned credits on fluff. If the entire point is to encourage rolling alts (and it is), Legacy unlocks should not be a credit sink.

Yes, I'd like to have a few of the items. No, I will never pay for them. Not even the emotes which are relatively cheap. Raise the Legacy point cost, do away with the credit sink.

I do not feel it is killing the game,it is something new and in the gaming world trying to innovate is never a bad thing I just feel certain issues of the game should of been in place before they spent so much time on it

The game is dying because Bioware expects players to stick around playing a half finished game for another few months ahead while you have other games out there that are way more complete then this one.

If they wanted to compete with other gaming companies (like Blizzard who now not only have WoW but also Diablo 3, Guildwars 2, Tera online etc etc)
They should have implemented waaaaayyyy better stuff to make the game more fun/challenging stuff then just making silly/stupid legacy system for roleplayers which took me about 10 minutes and I was bored by it on launch day

All the other PvP stuff / PvE was one big rush job

trying to explain their lack of being able to make the game as good as it was said to be I can only think of one word:

S.H.I.T

And quite frankly that word aint really enough to describe the situation

Character transfer should never be allowed. If there is a server popualtion problem they should merge servers. Transfering toons leads to imbalances in server populations as people migrate around to find a sever where their side rules pvp...Aion anyone?

The issues transfers can cause is not exactly a secret, but EA would rather have that issue than have the press announcing they were going to merge servers. Bad publicity is more important than good MMO managment it seems.

Which leads me on to may next point, I wonder if we will ever see servers merge in a MMO from now on, I doubt it.

Apparently the reason they will never do proper mergers is not cos it looks bad in the gaming community but because EAs investors who have been around since Warhammer think 'Mergers -> Fail' cos that's what happened to Warhammer so its a bad sign to them.

It's really enhancing my gameplay. I'd have a very hard time doing Heroic 4s with my girlfriend if I didn't have the legacy system. Also, the new implementations make me feel like I'm striving towards something the more I play, in addition to a new storyline. The extra buffs help in my situation as well. I'm really happy with Legacy!

If the question is "should they have focused on other things first?" my reply would be yes; very yes. But I don't see Legacy itself hindering anyone. The combat dummy on my ship is really nice.

Do you have anything else to spend it on? At 50, the only things you can do with credits are:
Unlock more tabs for bank/inventory
Repair bills
Buy stuff off GTN for crafting, or buy gear
Move mods around

I'm not too sure why all of you people are so poor with credits. Every time I hit 50 with a toon, they have at least 2 mill in the bank. When you buy something on your legacy, it unlocks on all toons. I plan on having my 8 slots filled with 50s, meaning 16 mill, without adding the daily grind.

If you really have trouble affording the legacy feature you want, then you are doing it wrong.

It's certainly not 'killing' SWTOR, it just has added NO value at all to the game - NONE! It's a vendor for rich players.
All warfare is based on deception If his forces are united, separate them If you are far from the enemy, make him believe you are near A leader leads by example not by force

Some of the legacy stuff is too out of reach for stuff to unlock for non alts. Like the ship droid stuff. Then that requires doing dailies to get enough credits to buy it which then just makes it all tedious. I am working on 3 alts so I am there with you. But not everyone is doing that.
