A direction to open up more communication with the community in general?

Ya, I'm dreaming...

One Month ago: Thought Swtor was an amazing light of innovation to come.
Half a Month ago: Heard EA say SWTOR wasent important, and server populations drop dramatically.
The other day: Heard 1.3 dosent even plan on implementing Rated Warzones and it has no estimation for release.

Conclusion, i went from loving this game to believing its going down the drain...

So they let Stephen Reid go ...

He was the only voice we had from EA/Bioware in regards to this game.

I swear, this is the last EA product I buy. I understand that after a major release, people are let go ... but to let this guy go tells me that this isn't just a normal layoff and they're already scaling back and moving on to other things.

Stupid move EA, stupid move.

They are cleaning house. TOR has been an utter failure and completely mismanaged. Their PR department continues to spin lies and in the mean time BW/EA actions toward their employees tells the real story. "you failed with this game..you're gone". The TOR community is up in arms and has been for a prolonged period of time. It does not come as a suprise that the person in charge of community relations is gone.

Sad to see him go, not sure its the best decision since to me at least stephen reid is the one name i think of when i think of the sw:tor community team.

since they're closing Reid threads left and right after literally 45 seconds of posting, I'll repost this question...

I just saw that Reid got fired, and it just appears to me that when you fire the community face of the company, that's not really helping much when you're on shaky ground. I'm not as wired into the community as some, so am I wrong here?

I'm surprised that threads are being redirected here, considering they don't allow talking about any one individual at a company in this manner.

I'm hoping that this'll turn into a thread where the new community manager makes his/her first post (if it's not a new sticky).
