Well I find it an ASTONISHING coincidence that in 7 years of mmo gaming it's only happened a few times. If it has happened much more to you, then I would perhaps question why that is....

anyone skip the operations crap again
and the Force beat generic Swords and Magic any day. 8/26/14 That was my old signature but after RotHC, I went back to superheroes and swords and magic. Now waiting on Dragon Age and a SWTOR story expac for my Bioware fix 7/30/15 Returned for KotFE. Finally, a story expac.

Really? You guys really think not having cross server lfg is going to kill the game? Having 124 servers is going to kill the game before lack of cross server lfg. fix the server pop issues then worry about cross server.

I think they are both related somehow.....

Compared to other group finders this one looks quite interesting because it allows players to form a group on the planets, this could mean that leveling with other players becomes a reality. It should also make the daily quests far more enjoyable too.
I would consider renewing my sub when it expires this July if I knew for sure they were dead serous about adding a cross server LFG feature....even if they said it cannot be released until late summer or early fall. Sure I will try the same server one...but I am not holding my breath it will work.

Same here. Some of these guys seem to like drama...they dwell on the worse in a group run and have issues ignoring them. So what there are some jerks in runs?..put them on ignore and move on. If you have friends or are in a nice guild, should not matter. Or you can be like me who does not let any jerk punk ruin my gaming experence.
That I can deal with. What I cannot deal with tho is the lack of players to do runs with on my low pop server.

Sadly, not everyone, but a lot of the current MMO generation of players -are- jerks to each other already with or without the social pressure of being on the same server. :-/

it’s a significant technical achievement

You guys are a freaking joke and this one statement exposes that fact for the world to see.

Here's a protip for you: there's this little company called Trion, they have a fraction of the money, manpower and resources that Bioware/EA does and their little game called Rift had cross server LFG within the first few months of launch.

Then again, for you clowns a "significant technical achievement" would be releasing a patch that doesn't break something else.
Tickle us, do we not laugh?
Wound us, do we not bleed?
Wrong us, shall we not revenge?

I will wait for the 1.3 patch, I like SWTOR.
but i can see there are problems, like low population. Reading your comments I've noticed a lot of good "solutions" (LFG Xserver, cut the high amount of useless server, etc...) and I start thinking that BW/EA should already know all these "solutions". the question is why they spend a lot of time before fix the problems? it's their work, if we can imagine solutions they should think about it months ago, so maybe ther's something we can't "see" about a MMO production!
My personal view to make things go better is to cut, deactivate, 2/5 of the server and force the account on the remaining server, until the release of 1.3 where we'll could reselct the server where our friends, teammates, guild are.
Hope someone "important" read our messages till then i can only continue to levelling.

You know, when the whole Red Zone/Green Zone nonsense was announced I said I thought Bioware were complete amatures out of their league....and now a LFG tool that isn't cross-server....hilarious. These guys seriously need to crank their Delorean up to 88 miles an hour and join the rest of us in 2012.
