I enjoy Corellia, but outside that there isn't an area that really stands out. Other MMO's have monuments or castles that are amazing, SWTOR is lacking in that.

Not that scenery is a deal breaker for me, its just a neat thing to see for a second or 2.
Theronot - Conqueror Juggernaut
Theranot - Conqueror Operative
Therinot - War Hero Marauder
The Bastion (formerly Black Vulkars)

I really feel like part of a living world
I don't understand this - what area of the game is realistic or active or living?

I will say that the artwork for Alderaan and Coruscant - the Senate - is beautiful though. I'd gladly trade aesthetics for a living world, though.

Belsavis, I guess because it wasn't what I was expecting as the game keeps telling you it's a prison world, but in a lot of areas it is very lush and colorful. Also, Taris on the Empire side, at least to me wasn't nearly as bad as it was on the Republic side, but that might have been because it was night.

I find Alderaan beautiful

It's my favorite visual area.

My favorite questing area is Balmorra. Way better than Taris as a planet to go to immediately after your capital.

Wanted add the area I hate...
Dromund Kaas space port. I hate it. All the other space ports have the ship exit mostly lined up with the hanger doors... WHICH ARE OPEN! but not D Kaas space port. NO on D Kaas you have to go up a ramp into the control area and then back down... It's a little pet peeve of mine I know... but it drives me nuts.

Never attribute to malice that which can be ascribed to sheer stupidity.

You will if you watch the linked recording that illustrates the example of a living, vibrant world mentioned in the first post.
I think it's called "sarcasm".

My favorite planet is Tatooine for a few reasons actually. Well for one its the first planet you see in the very first Star Wars movie and two; way back in SWG my Jedi trainer was the scout trainer in Anchorhead. When SOE fonally allowed your force sensitive slot to have houses I placed mine as close as I could to Anchorhead lol
My Imperial Agent saves his trusty sidearm for those annoying cut-scene NPCs only!

Hoth was my favorite planet. I didn't have a specific area of any planet that I deemed worthy enough to be called my favorite spot.
I don't discuss things as a committee, I don't care about a protocol droid's opinion, and I wish I had more time to get her excited

Doh, missed sarcasm fail on my part. But in my defense, I try not to watch videos at work - you never know how bad it could be!

Missing the sarcasm of the OP is what he gets for hiding it in a linked video (which seems awesome, BTW), though!

Yeah, TOR worlds are as cardboard as he says.

Alderaan, the approach to Rist castle with the terraces...really well done. Had to stop in the middle of killing asassins to take it in.
aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper?
