Am I spoiled by my previous MMO?

It is our humble privledge to pay 60 bucks and 15 a month.... lol

I like to think of a game release like a balloon. As they are working on it the "balloon" is filling with air. Once it is "released" it is released, all the air that is in it, is what propells it along, release too soon and you don't get enough momentum, too late and perhaps the balloon "bursts"?

What I can say from personal experience is that the mmo's I played for years (EQ, DAoC, WoW) I never felt so frustrated/dispassionate about after playing them for less than 4 months... maybe that's just me, but that's how it is

I'll condense it for you:

It's not a privilege to get less than what was claimed/promised/intended.

Another way to say it is if you go to the store and pay for 1 gallon of milk yet you only get 1/2 a gallon that's not a privilege, it's getting less than what you thought you were paying for... saying there are people who have less proves what exactly in that example?

And now you're attempting to compare getting less privilege than you personally thought you would to getting less necessity than you need.

It helps if you think about the state of an MMO in the first year as more of a privilege to being able to play while they polish it off

LOTRO on the other hand were a totaly different beast, with tons of free content being added each month, and I am talking huge parts of continent and several hundreds of quests, and of course there were also paid expansions, like Mines Of Moria that gave a huge addon, more classes and hundreds of quests, raids and dungeons, as well as totally new gamesystems, f.x. items that levelled with you, and minigames.

Riiiight... and when it's clearly demonstrated yet again in another thread that you are completely offbase/wrong suddenly I need to sleep on it.... lol how about a big cup of your own advice there

Except it IS your privilege to play an unfinished product. That's what you're not getting. Even if you only got all of 10 minutes to play, then crash bang it all fell apart, it was still a privilege!!
