Am I spoiled by my previous MMO?

I like to think of a game release like a balloon. As they are working on it the "balloon" is filling with air. Once it is "released" it is released, all the air that is in it, is what propells it along, release too soon and you don't get enough momentum, too late and perhaps the balloon "bursts"?

What I can say from personal experience is that the mmo's I played for years (EQ, DAoC, WoW) I never felt so frustrated/dispassionate about after playing them for less than 4 months... maybe that's just me, but that's how it is
Love your sig!
Can we please just have our pre-KotFE SWTOR MMORPG back?

The fact that you fail to comprehend what I wrote amazes me. You completed ignored/overlooked what was written as an attempt to defend your ridiculous hyperbole.

I'll condense it for you:

It's not a privilege to get less than what was claimed/promised/intended.

Another way to say it is if you go to the store and pay for 1 gallon of milk yet you only get 1/2 a gallon that's not a privilege, it's getting less than what you thought you were paying for... saying there are people who have less proves what exactly in that example?

And now you're attempting to compare getting less privilege than you personally thought you would to getting less necessity than you need.

You wanna try that again?

Reading comprehension ftw...

My original comment was in relation to

Quote:
It helps if you think about the state of an MMO in the first year as more of a privilege to being able to play while they polish it off
In other words, he was saying it is your privilege to play an unfinished product, which prompted my response of
Quote:
It is our humble privledge to pay 60 bucks and 15 a month.... lol
which then prompted your whole tirade about 3rd world countries.

Maybe you should try reading an entire post before you comment on it. My response is in direct relation to his comment... you suddenly start bringing 3rd world countries into that? Mutually exclusive topics bud sorry.

You must have forgot about LoTRO's content drought post mirkwood. Well over a year without new content, or RoI the xpac that shipped without any instances or raids(except Draigoch which was supposed to come with the update after f2p). Tons of content monthly is not something lotro is known for. All that said, it is a good game.

Except it IS your privilege to play an unfinished product. That's what you're not getting. Even if you only got all of 10 minutes to play, then crash bang it all fell apart, it was still a privilege!!

Lol... dude just admit you were wrong.... "But but.. it is your privilege to buy a brand new car that doesn't come with an engine!" Is pretty much what I hear from you.

That thing you are grasping at.... it's a straw >.<
