Hello Anyone Home Hellooooo *Knocks on BioWares Door*

Personally I actually love the game. I mainly play Eve Online and this is actually a nice diversion from time to play and one which I regularly play with my 14 year old son. However, that being said there are definitely issues that sorely need to be addressed ASAP. Waited 2 hours for a lvl 50 WZ to pop yeasterday, and when it did it was 8 Imps vs our 4 republic - making it a really crappy wz overall to say the least. I have sent my brother 2 trials and he loves the game but was waiting until after he graduates from college to actually buy it and play it. He is finished but I told him to hold off on buying the game atm since the server is dead. I have a great guild that I love to play with but see no point in him subbing until the server issues are actually fixed (read here that EA/BW is losing money from a potential customer due to the dismal server pops).

I do however have faith that the game will EVENTUALLY get fixed and I plan on sticking around until it does. What can I say, I have EVE ONLINE to fall back on as my main game anyway for actual space game play. And I must admit that the dev team for CCP is very active in putting out information on whats coming, what they are working on, and what they have planned. Heck CCP even scrapped an entire years worth of work on "walking in stations" because they community that loves and pays for the game revolted against the idea -CEO came out and actually publicly and formerly apologized to the player base- and CCP went back to giving players what they want and what they pay for.

I still personally feel that many of the problems currently plaguing TOR is more EA than BW. BW should never have signed with a company that seems to destroy everything they touch lately. NASCAR refuses to let EA ever touch their franchise again, as well as many other franchises formerly held by EA, but as they say hind sight is 20/20 and BW now has to deal with the proverbial monkey on the back. Personally I think ILM should get involved as they have the resources and the love for SW that EA will never have; maybe then my armor will look like it came from the SWU at level 50 rather than FF.

1.3 is great and new content is always good, but IMO fixing server populations at any cost and current content bugs is the most important thing that should be done. And hey look at the bright side, at least this thread hasn'r been locked yet or deleted.

Wall of silence?? LOL!! They post about 10 times a day on Twitter about it.

While I agree that the "wall of silence" comment is laughable, I hate that they post on Twitter instead of their own freaken forums.


These forums should be the first place information on this game is posted. Not Twitter. Not Facebook. Not Mos Eisley Radio station. Not DarthHater.com. But right here! On the "OFFICIAL" SW:TOR Forums.

IMHO, their Community Relations team needs a swift kick up the backside.

Thats funny because i follow the community team on twitter so i know that is on big lie.
Most times they talk about what they are eating and what other games etc they play.
A few times now and then SR or JO will post something with a link to the forum but thats like
3 weeks apart always.What ever they tell other users in personal replies is something else, most of us dont
see that.And we should not have to be in twitter to know what goes on about the game ! but here on this forum.

It surprises me that they haven't closed this thread already, cause they don't like people talking about them.

They would had they seen it.

Maybe even the CM team have given up now. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

And that's the day I leave...just like I did with DDO.

Who cares about Twitter? Isn't THIS their official site?
