Is collectors edition worth it

The lightsaber crystal sounded cool, but once you see the stats, and the horrible choice in color you realize how awful it is.
I couldn'twe get like a silver crystal, or that crystal that became attatched to the exile in KOTOR2 that would have been cool. (Though i realize the game said the crystal could pnly be used by the exile, but they could have worked around that.

woo i got another CE and im gonna return the used one and get my money back, this time the code wasn't used, i looked at the CE store and its not too bad, not Bioware's best but good enough

I wear the Imperial trooper armor to piss off RPing newb idiots who whine that they cant look like a imperial grunt soldier. Also, i use the Malgus statue to hold my security key fob by putting the keychain on his lightsaber blade... Other then that, its only purpose is to take up alot of room in your closet cause the box is way over-sized (just like your excitement when you spent 150 dollars for it)

All and all, i was disappointed but im a huge star wars nerd and had collectors edition on SWG so obviously i had to have CE for TOR as well haha. Basically i really got it for nostalgic reasons. If your just a mmo player and slight star wars/ KOTOR fan... probably not an investment worth making.

PS- The Journal sucks ****, there is a 48m video on youtube of a guy reading it with the pics mixed in, way more epic.

Absolutely NOT worth it. I have never felt so ripped off by the collector's edition of a game before. Box is cheap, statuette is cheap and ugly. Vendor is worthless and has had nothing added to it. I feel like Bioware stuck their hand in my pocket, took out my wallet, removed $90 and then kicked me in the junk for my trouble.

If the product code is already used then you wont recieve those items. The product code is tied to the account and so are the features that come with them. However, if you wanted the statue, art book and sound track... then it was probably worth the 55 bucks to you.

I don't, read don't, feel cheated in the least. I didn't buy the CE for the digital items, those were just a perk. I bought the CE for the stuff in the box. I've been collecting star wars stuff for 30 years. I figure long after the game is gone I can sell the boxed items and easily get my money back.

For me it's worth it! People ask me where did I get that mouse droid, and on an RP server it's just another excuse to get social! But I usually get mad sometimes and spend 150$ on a single videogame , so don't look at me for advice!

Short answer is no. Bioware can look at this as a success because of the CE units that were sold. But as for the in game items, there is nothing worthy of a "Collectors Edition". Not even the speeder or the pet. Which is I'm sad to say is a Roomba.

The mouse droid is not the CE pet. It's the security key vendor. The CE pet is the ugly vacuum cleaner.
The security vendor is nice, but you can have access to it without the CE. There is also the imperial trooper armor, from the vip vendor, but if you don't want it, there is nothing else worth it.
The camera is almost useless (never use it), the training droid only works on mob (useless). What's left is the flare (nice, but not worth the money), and the dancer (nice, but too short, and you can have better from social vendor). Oh, and also a free 90% mount. As I said, good, but not worth it IMO.

People who bought the digital CE were cheated.
