I come on the forums on my iphone while im waiting for the multiple and long load screens. I love this game but tha would be my one and only biggest complaint.... Too many instanced areas with load screens.

Fixed that for you.

BioWare does not have a right to my money. They have to earn it. They aren't entitled to it by sheer virtue of having put this steaming pile of...bugs out there.

I feel for the OP too. (S)he is still in the honeymoon period with the game. I dealt with the same recurring bugs from July through today. I'm finally fed up with it. I hope they do more in the OP's 10~11 months than they did in mine. If they do, then maybe they'll deserve some more of my money too.

The first time to 50 is great fun, if you can get past the game-breaking bugs (like certain classes being unable to progress their class storyline, companions bugging out in their quest arcs, etc.), but after that you start to see the peeling paint, crooked doorways, and other shoddy craftsmanship. That's the point where you decide to get out of the building before it collapses on you.

Note that there are still game-breaking bugs for the Imperial Agent, which prevent the class quest series from progressing. FIVE MONTHS after release... This isn't a simple sound glitch or graphical anomaly that can be ignored. The state of the game is unacceptable.
If you pick up a novel, and see pages 2-899 only as obstacles between pages 1 and 900, then it may just be that you don't like reading.

Let me preface this with saying that I'm not referring to you, but the "doomsayers"...

I would say that the rationality is dependent on just HOW upset you are allowing yourself to get. I don't think anyone is flaming anyone for criticizing what they think about the game. It's how far they go.

It's the people who obviously AREN'T happy, but don't take their business elsewhere. With so many of these posts, it's the WORST attempt at the WORST game EVER made, by the WORST company in the business. They NEVER communicate with the players, they NEVER will implement anything they want and they will NEVER care about anything other than money.

It's the overly dramatic criticisms. It's not the least bit constructive and is simply used as an opportunity to see how creative they can get with nasty responses.

If any game made me as upset as some of the people appear to be getting on here, I'd be LONG gone and certainly wouldn't be hovering around the forums. That's the attitude of a stalker or a bully.

Ah yes, well, of course we are entitled gamers, we're paying for something aren't we? So I don't think that being entitled for something I pay my money for, is bad. In fact, I think it's good and responsible.

But no matter, soon sentences like yours will die out when people realize how consumerism works, yes, even in gaming, because it's not "their game".

Seriously, that people still think like that. Unbelievable.

The only thing you are paying for is the right to access their servers. Their servers that they have costs for. Their game that they have to maintain.

You pay the upfront costs of the game to get access to it like any othe game with the forknowledge that if you wish to keep playing it you have to keep paying for it. Dont like the game? Shelve it like any other lame single player game that you no longer enjoy.

Sidestepping the need to be ever so much more experienced than the new person with a valid point.
There are a few glitches that simply shouldn't be here anymore, but that's for Bioware to argue about, not us, so, on to more constructive things. I love the idea of pod racing, I really, really do.

As for moving servers. I have a general question. Switching servers is surely just a transfer of data right? Data that they could give us the option to transfer ourselves in a few clicks.
....why on earth should, or would, we pay for that?

Transfers are alot more then just a few clicks, also it's all about the benjamins.

But I'm from the UK, we have Darwins
So are you saying that transferring a character accross a server is actually going to require their time and/or money any more than say, answering a pointless game ticket?
Because they don't charge us for asking silly questions...I might understand more if they didn't charge for server changes but stuck a price on silly questions
