Nonsense. Not a single factual statement in your entire pararaph. Lots of personal opinion though.

Name one MMO you actually like.

Now, go play that MMO.

Your problem is solved.

Two months ago this might have been the case.

When the population was too spread out across too few servers, yes, server transfers would have done the trick.

Now we have a situation of there not being enough remaining players to fill the servers to a healthy level. Server transfers simply cannot completely correct this problem, and you'll likely see merges follow them.

You've only played for a week. Wait until you would like to queue up for a warzone or run a heroic, or need help on a class quest or want to try an Operation and you can't find anyone to do those things with. Wait. Wait and see how YOU feel after YOU have experienced that.
I keep seeing posts like this. Ive been playing for a few weeks now (had to wait until third year of uni was complete before i could justify buying the game) and Ive never had this problem. When queuing for pvp I get in a WZ pretty fast. So fast I cant do anything towards quests inbetween. I can seem to get a flashpoint, heroic or group quest group easily enough, and typically see people asking for a group for the same quest once I already have a group.

Seems to me there is no shortage of players, at least on my server. And I've also run into a number of people who've just purchased the game like me. Ive joined three guilds so far, now I feel like Im in a good one, and like I said before, I have no trouble getting groups.

WoW - millions and millions of subs and when I played could hardly ever find a group, and when I did it was half full of arrogant children who rage quit, or insult you. The guilds i was in in WoW were never helpfull, never got groups from them.

Not only is the world better in swtor, the gameplay is better, and the community is better.

I don't remember you saying they weren't having fun.

I just assumed they were quitting because they thought people were leaving.

If you have fun playing the game you'll play it or find ways to play it.

I've never once quit a game because of population.

I really like what SWTOR could be. I dislike what it is.

Guess haters gonna hate. Like a boss. <insert more internetgobbledygook here>

Uh, Mario is awesome.

That is simply not true. If there were only 50,000 players left playing, server transfers and shutting down dead servers after transfer to end uyp with a few populated servers woud revive the populations per server.

It's a populations per server issue to be addressed, not an absolute populations issue.

.
I have to say i feel that if server population is the issue, server population is not the issue...its something else that is causing the servers to lose subscribers.

Server mergers are a temporary fix if the problem is not solved, like taking an Aspirin for a headache when your having a stroke.

The feeling is mutual.

I've seen too many MMOs fail, and always there were people like you on the forums, giving in and giving in, so happy to continue putting out fires because of what they have been "given" by developers out of the goodness of their heart. So willing to see a game end up on life support like War or AOC just to avoid seeing people complaining about it on the forums.

Sorry, but I don't agree with you.
