Patient, we should be.

It's one thing to be patient if it's your first week or two of playing this game, or if your server only recently started having problems, but honestly my server has been dying for the past 2-3 months. Sure, there were a bunch of level 50s sticking around at that time, but even back then it was hard to find a full group to do a flashpoint if you were anything under level 50.

I'm not you, thankfully, so please, stop trying to tell other people how they should be playing and viewing this game. It isn't your place.
That's all people have been doing since day one of the forums opening. How do you hang out here if you hate it so badly?

Yes, it's the fault of players like you. Never trying to regain the fun factor by your own, always waiting for a patch to give it to you on a silver plate. Always wanting too much, always unhappy because of that. The typical MMO nomad, always wandering to find new pastures, never happy by those that are already available.
Think of this: If you will play a Jedi or a Sith, now you will never get to take your apprentice to fight with you in flashpoints, warzones or raids. You will never face together any of the big end-game bosses.

i'm trying to be patient. i don't even think the game needs much changed! the real problem is population! you can have all the best features ever but it doesn't make a damn bit of a difference when there are 9 imps and 5 pubs in queue, with no more additions for nearly two hours. this was my SWTOR experience last night, standing around on the fleet, waiting for a queue, talking with people about the state of things.

I dont need a level 50 in Star Wars to know the frustrations of playing an MMO where at the end game content level there is minimal interactions and very few things to do. Ive been there before on other games and it seems no matter how many times or ways i state that fact im still going to be treated as someone who is inexperienced regardless of any other factors.
Hey JSYK we all loved this game or we wouldnt have played it for over 5 months, we have no choice, our servers are dead and frankly after sitting in fleet for hours upon hours you finally get an epiphany...this game really is being run by imbeciles. Nobody that has played this for 5+ months could dispute that fact unless they are wearing rose colored glasses.

I hope you have fun in your journey and may the force be with you, but why you are posting here and not "enjoying" your game, is beyond me. I never posted here unless servers were down until i quit because i was the only person on my fleet LITERALLY i was all alone and 15 people on the same server, but ya...we are just haterz! LMAO *sigh*

The "haters" hate because they tend to be antisocial sociopaths with nothing better to do than rant endlessly on internet forums. Many here might not have even played the game at all. You can clearly see the problems these individuals suffer from when you read a hate post and the writer mentions that they quit the game weeks or months ago. A normal person would have moved on. A disturbed person instead trolls the forums of a game he left behind long time ago.
Bravo!

It doesn't matter what you expected from the game, everyone, including Bioware, expected a population drop. It was their lack of preperation that left us in this position.

The matrix cubes were corrected after like 3 days, which isn't very quickly for a problem which you paint to be so minor.

Why are so many of you so accepting of failure exactly?
We don't accept failure because we don't see what's going on as failure. We realize that the game isn't perfect, we realize that things like transfers are an absolute must, etc. It's just that Bioware has already stated that these things are being worked on. How will posting endlessly on the board about it help any more? They realize that there's a problem and they're working on it. Is it their fault for not thinking of this issue months/years ago? Sure it is. But, what will moaning about it now accomplish?

At this point, the issue is being addressed. Whether the resolution is worth waiting around for is obviously your own choice, but cluttering the board won't help get something done that is already being worked on.

This would be like going to a restaurant, ordering a steak, sending it back due to it being burnt and then yelling at the waitress every 2 minutes about how you don't have your replacement steak yet. The steak is coming... yelling at the waitress, or even the cook at that point is pointless... regardless of how hungry you currently are.

That's the point the "haters" are trying to get across to you.

Stay eternally hopeful though. It may pay off some day.
Hyperbole.

The number one issue with the game right now is server populations. Server transfers will address this. Impatient or intolerant people will unsubscribe before that. Those same people will very likely come back and try it again when server transfers reinvigorate the populations on a fewer number of total servers.

As for any patch being a salvation patch, no, no rational person says that or believes that. The impatient and intolerant tend to. They also tend to get their hopes up, expectations on edge, and in essence create their own next disappointment.

Honestly, it's a game. It's entertainment, not real life. If you cannot manage your expectatons for entertainment, then maybe it's best to just walk away from MMOs entirely because every single one of the is going to disappoint you in the end.

I am Patient, i stuck with a Game that Refuesed to give Free transfers, which were 50 bucks PER TOON, ALL ITEMS LOST, etc. I stuck with it for 8 years, i can stick with myserver for another few weeks.
With the most expensive mmo ever made which is this one to have features not put into this game at launch is ludicrous and it caused the game to fail , like a simple cross server pvp feature would of saved this game from losing so much subs, i know my server would be back alive if they put that in but they won't and probably take them a year before they put that in and to be the most expensive game ever made there is no excuse to not have it and to take so long to fix the growing population decline on servers. Like EA said this game is not in the top 5 of it's money makers but it's in the top 10 but they are willing to sacrifice this game for it's top 5 money makers and let this die.

I'll just put it out there...

My biggest issue with SWTOR is that every time I load up the game now, all I can hear in my head is the classic Mario Bros. music playing. The more I play it, the more pointless and Mickey Mouse it becomes.

I really like what SWTOR could be. I dislike what it is.

Guess haters gonna hate. Like a boss. <insert more internetgobbledygook here>
