Who is "they" and where did you get this info? I usually try to avoid taking anything I see posted on these forums by players or what I hear from people in general on my server as hearsay. Especially on these forums though unless the person posts a link to a reputable source since many a hater will just pick the parts of something that heard, twist it around until they get mad about it, then post it in such a way as to try to start a bandwagon

Yip thats how I understand it... so to get your next legacy unlock... grind that XP to oblivion only another 37 levels to catch up... unless they take the sensible road and just make the next time you level your legacy it automatically jumps to 39... but I am not so confident of their logic anymore...

I only have 1 level 50 toon. My other toon is on another server and is level 29. I stopped playing the level 29 when I heard about the merges/transfers just as a precaution as I assumed it would affect legacy somehow.

If this is any indication, the highest level will be the one that you will have on the new server. They already have the infrastructure in place and they've already done it with the Asia-Pacific servers. Quite frankly, it's probably far easier to do it this way than to undo what they've already got in place and write exceptions into the code to allow higher level legacy unlocks on servers with lower level legacies.

Some of you guys either read then don't understand, or just plain ignore. Legacy has already been handled before with the APAC transfers. You get the highest level legacy + unlocks.

Please just listen, this has been done already.

I only have characters/legacy on one server atm so I should just wait and let this all get transferred lock stock and barrel to a new server, without any confusion over merging 2 legacies?

What are the chances they come up with a "name in use" tool that would tell you if your character or legacy name is already being used on the server you've picked to transfer to *before* you actually hit the transfer button (and so could try a different one)?

We do not even have transfers yet....
