LEGACY & TRANSFERS: tell me it's not true!

You can't, BioWare has given you 30 free days so even if you quit, next month you're still seen as an Active subscriber.

I'm on the Server Zaalbar. I've watched our pop drop from 73 at peak hours on fleet 2 weeks ago. Down to around 20. 30 if we're lucky. There is actual in game talk about all of us, as in republic and imp side cancelling completely. No-one can queue. No-one can do raids, or FP's. A majority of people either re-rolled on The Fat Man, or are slowly cancelling subs. Didn't think it was a serious discussion at 1st, but seeing how entire guilds have quit, and the pop drops at a steady pace every day If you cant offer complete merger or transfers at the moment then AT LEAST let the lowest population server's get transfers for our characters. Obviously you can because you did it for asia-pacific players. So Just let us already, or literally entire servers will disappear population wise

From what I've understood from the Podcast and Q&A, you wont lose anything.

If your character on Y-server has legacy lvl 6 and has pureblood unlocked, and your character on X-server has lvl 40 + gtn + ship droid etc and presence bonus unlocked

Then if you transfer character from X to Y, the lvl 40 Legacy will take over. However you will still retain the pureblood unlock from the low lvl legacy.

If they allow you to carry over your unlocks while readying you Rank to 1, it would suck yes. But, the solution is the get started on the unlocks you want now so you don't have worry about them when the time comes.

The more important issue regarding transfers is that theyre not going to allow transfers to The Fatman or The Swiftsure servers(2 highest pop servers) which is where the game actually FEELS like a MMO and not KOTOR 3.

Read it again. It says that the higher legacy level will be applied and explains after that. Let me give you an example as i understand it. You have a level 20 legacy and the mailbox unlock in server (1). In another server(2) you have a level 10 legacy and the sith race unlock.

1) Transfer to server (1): You will have a level 20 legacy, the mailbox unlock and the sith race unlock
2) Transfer to server (2): You will have a level 20 legacy, the mailbox unlock and the sith race unlock

I wish they would give examples like that exery time as their phrasing leaves something to be desired.

No, it is not how it works. If you are like me and have a level 38 legacy on my mains server and I have a level 2 legacy on The Fatman, when I pay to have a character transfered from my level 38 legacy to my level 2 legacy , my transfered character will now have a legacy level of 2 but I will retain all of my level 38 legacy unlocks.

True, I wonder what goes in the head of some people, they get a clear explanation on how it works and then they start writing things that make no sense...well, not everyone can be normal I guess.

Its super simple ALL unlocks on both servers will get merged and the highest Legacy level will be the main one after merge:

Server 1: lvl 30 Consular, ship mailbox unlock, Legacy lvl 10

Server 2: lvl 35 Sniper, ship droid unlock, Legacy lvl 15

Server 3: lvl 50 Commando, GTN unlock, Legacy lvl 40

I'm moving all my chars to Server 1:

So I get in the same server, lvl 30 consular, lvl 35 sniper, lvl 50 Commando, maibox unlock, ship droid unlock, GTN unlock and Legacy lvl 40.

Is that hard to understand?!

This, to me, says that your unlocks stay, but the existing server legacy applies.....
