Found a thread there about faction switching. One big point was made as to why this wouldn't work before 50.. the storyline. Then expansions would have to have new story be faction neutral or something. so story telling could be bust.
Not fact, just my opinion.

Ah ok well they have mentioned more for neutral players in the future maybe a xpac will do something like that then. That could be pretty cool. Like a new story arc between jedi and sith relations. Its a pretty open time line as far as lore or story goes. So with alittle imagination it could be done quite well i think.

THIS, is what I hoped BHs would be in this game...

I remember the cowardly BHs staking out a Jedi's house and refusing to flag for PVP so they couldn't be fought.

I do remember early SWG, before there were shuttles, before speeders, and any mount, where you could only get somewhere by running. Running across the Dune Sea on Tat to find Jabba's palace. Then BAM! your dead. Oh hey, That's where the sarlacc is.

Anyone else remember when class quests only came like every 10 lvls or so. And raids was exactly that you fought your way through an area to battle some major league boss.

Grouping wasnt quest driven it was lvl driven. You would group up run to some camp in a remote corner of the open world just hopeing it had an empty spot lol. Spent hours and hours killing the same mobs over and over.

But that didnt realy matter because you was to busy making friends or just chatting it up with your friends and the others in the area. Sometimes the grind was a pain sure, But at the end of the day even tho you only made maybe 2 or 3 lvls. You still felt like you acomplished something.

And unless you was just a douche bag usaly when you needed help many of the community came to help. And exspected the same from you .

Man raids was plains of sky plains of disease. Mist mooore ,Isle of dread lol. Those was great man spend all night maybe killing 2 ,3, possibly 4 bosses and just usaly having a blast doing it.

Those are the things that made mmo's great to me. Those are the friends that even tho alot of them i only knew as screen names and avatars i still to this day think about and wonder how they are.

Those are the things i miss the most.

Those games still exist. If you enjoy beating yourself in the face with a pain stick that bad, then by all means, go play them. The rest of us will enjoy SW:TOR for what it is.

Yea have to say to me the bounty hunters seem alittle waterd down. Not saying they are a bad class or anyhting just saying they dont feel like the epic galctic bad azzes they should be. More like a trooper with a bad attitude .

I have only had one to lvl 23 so i could be wrong about them in end game. But they still dont offer the awe inspire or sometimes dread i got from seeing one in swg lol. You load in run out of the space port and there stand a Bh.

I remember thinking crap i hope he isnt after me lol. even when i knew they probably wasnt you was still always alittle weary of them. And it paid to be lol.

My most fond Moments was had in EQ, Putting together a 70+ man raid together to take down bosses that you could steal from other guilds or have them stolen from you. It was always a treat to go in a Zone and another guild already be there.

Time to send in the crazy Monk/Ranger/Bard to train the other guild with everything in the Zone to take down the boss before they got back. Man those kinds of things was so fun / pain is the butt depending what side you ended up on. Although you always left with a sense of accomplishment.

Yes people cried about it and it was eventually changed but it was fun while it lasted. In this case it lasted a few years. Until like the, what was it? the forth expansion?

Then WoW was released and MMO's went to ****, skill lost all meaning, and groups teams lost all meaning ... as long as your numbers were high on the chart you were leet.

Sorry but the WoW kiddies wouldn't last 2 minutes on a true FFA PvP server.

LOL well glad you enjoyed it i never was big on the training. Matter of fact i despised it. But that was me and if thats what you enjoyed then thats cool. Altho i do remember training a dreadnaught into a group once because i tabed a target i thought was a skeleton and turned out to be a dam bone lord dreadnaught lol. i took of running and ended up going right into a group of players.

I even offerd to cover thier repairs tho as i felt bad about killing them like that.
