Oh I hope they don't emergency patch this. While annoying this isn't game breaking and could wait until next Tuesday.

I'm sure if enough crybabies moan about it, BW will perform "emergency" maintenance on thursday or friday night. Can't have a week go by without wizzing all over the late-night and oceanic players, can we?

Giving the OP the benefit of the doubt that he's not trolling, let me explain.

When they code features of the game (any feature, from basic ground physics to the helmet fix), they are coding in a hermetic environment. In other words, they are coding in ideal, predictable circumstances.

once players get involved, more variables are introduced that may or may not have been taken into account by the programmers. That being said, in an MMO, with millions of players, every single command received by the system has the potential to introduce a new variable that the programmers did not account for.

To figure out the number of potential variables you have to calculate the following formula:
Number of possible player commands (this includes things camera angles, degrees of facing) = N
Number of intractable coded objects in the game environment (This NPCs, Time of day) = E
Number of Player using the code (All the players) = P
(N x E) x P = the number of possible unforeseen code interactions. (hint: it's in the trillions)

So there are literally trillions of possibilities for programming code to act unexpectedly.

This is not incompetence, this is the simple reality of multi user software. It's not like a mario game, where there are only 8 player input options, 132 (or so) intractable functions and 1 player.

While you're at it, check to see if her skin still disappears when equipping the slave girl outfit.

That's all fine and dandy. But what did they change to make certain companions heads disappear? It has nothing to do with camera angle. It only has to do with they are wearing x y z headgear. It is a fact that almost every patch has broken something else. It is extremely humorous watching the new bugs pop up every single week. Then they get priority fixes and old bugs remain ignored.

So the best student of the Padawan class got beheaded?

Oh destiny, why is your exquisite taste for irony so unforgiving?

This is what my Ashara is wearing. I filled out a bug report in game when I logged in tonight, but it has mysteriously disappeared (from my customer service tickets) as well.

I completely agree Roccobb. But you know... it is unlikely you can get this through to the fan boys.

I like this game too, but people just need to stop it with the excuses as to why Bioware can't release bug free patches.
