I agree with the post above this, nobody listens here, the people that do enjoy the game slander your opinions, and the dev's copy paste answers for a weekly Q&A... its ridiculous for a paid service.

Out of interest, how many of the people who feel the same as i do, would like to see a letter, or email sent directly to the lead dev's.

Clearly they do not read the forums, and nobody from the SWTOR Team (other than the moderators) seem to read these comments.

There is no slander here, but there is pushback against the ridiculous level of negative hyperbole.

There is no slander here, because the moderators have closed the thread several times to delete it.

Already i have had people tell my my opinion does not count.

READ the forums, there is a long long list of people that want to play this game, but cant because of the serious amount of problems it has.

Not if you ask that guy "Swifty" from wow... I was browsing some D3 stuff on youtube a while ago, found a "ZOMG I HAS BEEN PERMABANNED" vid, he as all heartbroken.. "it's not just a game, it's 6 years of my life, the same toon, friends, experiences"... that guy has it bad.

but you are right, as are most things we trivial little beings do with our tiny amount of time in this universe, and the LAST thing I'm going to do is spend anymore time in a forum for a video game that I cancelled ..

I just unsubbed.

To sum it up, not unlike a big budget movie with a great cast and a great story that somehow falls flat. I never really felt that I was someplace I’d never been before (think cantina in Mos Eisley from StarWars)

By trying to create an MMO that was great at everything at launch we ended with an MMO that was mediocre at best in every category…

Let's face it without the StarWars IP this game is crap.

This is what i dont understand, and would like some clarification on from BW.

The game is loosing players DAILY, since creating this topic, i must have seen at least 20 people say they are unsibscribing, yet BW do not have any comments, neither do they seem to care.

That's because by design the general discussion forums is where you can discuss things with your fellow players, not have a constant roundtable with developers because you may be having an issue with the status of the game. When you unsubscribe, as I have done a couple times because I don't like auto-renewal of subs, they request direct feedback from you in the form of an e-mail that sounds exactly like this:

Quote:
Tell us About Your Experience
We value you as a customer and we're sorry to see you go. Your opinion is very important to us, as we are committed to continually improving the game and addressing your concerns. We'd appreciate it if you would take a short survey and tell us about your experience and let us know what we can do to bring you back into the game.

Remember, your account and any characters you have created will not be deleted. We hope to see you back in the game soon.

Sincerely,
The Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Community Team
That is where you should be focusing your feedback efforts, everything that people post on these boards will only garner attention from other players. The general forums of every game I have ever played going back to eq1 have never been a direct hotline for you settle issues with the development team.

What exactly are you expecting? I have not and still do not understand the motivation for threads like these when they specifically ask you for your feedback in a direct e-mail providing a link to give your response.

Not saying your opinion doesn't count, just that it would seem you're going about expressing it in the wrong manner.

I completed that form when i unsubscribed, and never got so much as a thank you.

£45 for the disc's (which funilly now sell for £20 in the same store) [ and this wasn't even CE]
2 x 2 month game time @ £20
1 x debit transaction sub at £10
30 free days

absolutely bollocks all to show for it.
